July has never felt so far away.

M&M can easily be countered by P with Colossi and/or Immortals.  I wouldn't worry about numbers so much as upgrades.  A Immortal with 1/1 upgrades will shred through marauders like a hot knife through butter.  You just need to micro them effectively so they aren't wasting time on the marines.  Have some stalkers or Charge equipped Zealots for the Marines and you should be golden.

Also, build a shuttle, get a reaver in there and harass their mineral line. What, no reavers? I dunno, make colossi and pack them in a warp prism.

Hooray, it only took Blizzard 5 years and change to release a new standalone game.

Well I was planning on playing the beta more  and getting better but now I think I'll just play SC2 for the kart racing maps.

After playing beta I totally lost interest in Starcraft 2. 

Supreme Commander 2 is superior on every level, graphics, unit animations, weapon effects and explosions, scale, maps, research tree, vast number of interesting units, unit veterancy,  zoom etc.etc.

For Marine/Marauder  go with Zelots equiped with charge and Immortals, and then get High Templar to psistorm. I wouldn't use Colossi as they can go down pretty quick to focused Marauder fire. The late game pretty much boils down to who can psistorm and EMP better than the other.

Now that, that is out of my system. The Beta so far is great, even though the game really doesn't feel terribly different than the first. Everything just feels well thought out/planned and unlike most recent RTS's the Terran, Protoss, Zerg all feel considerably different and fun to play.
 
I haven't had this much playing an RTS in a while.

I can't do much against MMM as a Zerg either.  It's beatable, but it seems to require 10x the micro to beat MMM as it does to perform it.  They can basically just right click your base and work on their macro, whereas the Z has to effectively micro banelings, infestors, lings, and hydras to beat it.  If I can't win early, it just doesn't happen.
