Shout out to VicRattlehead. We played some games earlier: decent mix of stupid, clutch and pwnage. Good Rog, hopefully we can get a set in sometime without dropped connections. A couple hours of practicing links went to shit.

a question for the people who have went from using a pad to using a stick... did you people have as much problems as im having doing basic things such as dragon punches and fireballs, i also pretty much can never do quarter circle ultras either its all becoming very frustrating :'(

btw for those who play on ps3 and live in uk the costume dlc is £4.79 till april 1st yay

yep. i recommend getting hd remix, that way you can practice on that, its more strict, that way when you play sf4 youll be that much more accurate.

dont go back to the pad though, youll just slow the process down.

This. Every time I feel I've made some progress, I'll end up using the pad for bursts. I don't feel comfortable using Gouken on the stick, so quickly change to pad, only to find after a couple of hours play I feel extremely awkward going back to it. Its a slow process, but I feel I'm getting there. Being able to anti-air on call would be great. Alas...

Ignore the gen, but watch how Blanka can just do elec crazy fast. Its a differnt tequniqe but its deffiantly not turbo.

I believe at the begging of the video the commentator says they they (Gen and Blanka player) are using billiards glove (LIKE ME N CANNED FUCK) which means they are using the slide technique.

Replace medium kick with light punch and OMG SLIDE.

I take offense to this Stang, the only reason I ever mash out elec is for it to combo or if your jumping in on me and I panic. I never sit there mashing lp which you hit me, and if elec does come out when you go to throw me its because i was doing the down back OS and normally I do it too fast and elec comes out I hate when that happens cuz it makes me look bad.

Besides elec sucks as a "mash during block strings move" because it can be stuffed on start up cleanly if your doing your string right. SRK is much better and easier AND can lead to a combo in terms of mashing.

Who ever cared about a Blanka mashing elec? If it doesn't connect then they're wide open to attack. A elec mashing Blanka is not even on the same planet as a mashing srk. SRK has invis frames, is very fast, is easily comboed in to big damage, is safe with 2 meters and so on. The only time a Blanka that I've faught has mashed was when they're doing a crossup to elec or hop to elec and that's just to make sure it comboes or comes out when they want it to.

Also huge lol at the thought of Jeff wearing one of those gloves.

That was fun Jeffsekai thanks for going easy on me. I like ryu and M. bison I used them the most on the challenge modes they are the ones im the best with. Your really good with balrog blanka and E.honda.

@Scooper: yeah got el fuerte's last one done last night. The only other one i had real trouble with was the viper one were you have to cancel super jump to ultra. I'll invite you when i see you on.

I'm not very good and none of my friends play so its impossible to get better when getting your ass whooped over and over again. So if anyone that isnt too good wants to play with me and try to get better that is def welcome :) Also if your good and could give me tips after playin me that would be awesome too lol.
