One of the best rpg's of alltime, and mario's funniest adventure
Ok now let me say something, this game is amazing, period. It has all of mario's classic characters, and some new lovable ones, like geno and mallow, and bowser and peach join your party eventually, making them playable for the first time. Ok now the rundown on the controls, Gamecube controller: control stick: move (duh! XD), B button: jump, A button: equip, timed hits, weapon select, X button: item, special, status, star collection, equip, etc. menu period, Y button: select special moves, and, as surprising this is, the controls work out perfect. And now the gameplay, is second best to paper mario, pm has just funner and easier controls to master, that is for virtual console XD. Now the story, a guy named smity (makes me wanna apple! XD) has taken over bowsers castle, in the begining, 7 stars circle around a sword, then the stars go crashing down all over the mushroom kingdom, and then the sword crashes down into bowsers castle, and send mario, peach, and bowser flying out of bowsers castle, and when mario attempts to go back to the castle, exor then breaks the bridge to the entrance, and thus, begin's the adventure to collect the stars, and stop smithy. Now the graphics and music, the graphics, best for the super nintendo, and introduced a new look to the plumber, rather then 8-bit, and the music, will never compare to galaxys, ever, even though its good for that system. I highly recommend this to mario and rpg fans of any age, but if you like chrono trigger, its nothing like that, but rather than that, its a great game! go get it off of the wii shop channel for just for 800 points! WHATTA DEAL!
