Because it's a new promotion that Taco Bell is doing and when I first saw a sign at my local Taco Bell advertising this I thought it was one of the best worst things I have ever seen. Also for those that don't know Taco Bell is no longer owned by PepsiCo, that said they still maintain a close relationship via Taco Bell's new owner Yum! Brands which is a spin off company of PepsiCo's fastfood division which consists of KFC, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Wing Street, Pasta Bravo and other franchises. As a result you still can only buy beverages that are Pepsi products at these locations. Also Pepsi owns the Frito-Lay company as well as Walkers so making a Dorito flavored taco shell isn't that crazy of an idea when you think about it...unless you don't think about it.

Yes I have actually. My roommate and I were really curious about it and there's a Taco Bell about 3 minutes from where we live.

Its pretty much a pricier normal crunchy taco but with a Doritos chip (flavor powder and all) for a shell. It is incredibly fragile. After the first bite, the thing pretty much fell apart. My roommate's came with a little paper caddy to hold it since it is so fragile. Mine didn't so I pretty much had to eat it like actual Doritos with taco meat on them after a couple of bites.

As far as taste, I like the normal crunchy taco better, but its still okay.

It looks good to me. I shouldn't eat it, and I probably won't, but it still doesn't look like it tastes bad in that picture.

I ate one at my University. The taco shell is easily breakable and it tasted like... well a Dorito with lettuce, tomato, meat, etc. It was okay. My friend said it was too salty.

Fuck Nacho Cheese, let me try a Cooler Ranch taco.

I think that's all of taco bells menu items. I can't understand why people like it so much.

After putting on some hot sauce, I didn't really notice the difference in taste.

When you think about it, it's just a flavored shell, which makes sense. I won't be trying this as I'm not a fan of the nacho cheese dorito, but put out a Cool Ranch one and I'll feel inclined to.

Nope. My taste buds and gag reflex are still operating normally so I'll continue to stay away from Taco Bell.

Had them a couple of times. The shell was really salty and just barely tasted like the "Nacho Cheese" chip we know and love.

Hell, I'd try it. Also, the thought of receiving this taco in an Automat or a Vending Machine looks good.

I don't like Taco Bell, but I respect the idea of a Doritos taco.
