    The Odinsson

Thor is one of the most well-known and most powerful of the Norse gods. There are many remaining stories of his exploits, which include him cross-dressing to retrieve Mjolnir back from the giant Thrym, a tale where he went fishing and accidentally rigged in Jormundgand, and one where he was tricked into performing a series of impossible tasks through magical ruses. He has a strange relationship with Loki; sometimes they co-operate on adventures, at other times they are bitter enemies.

At Ragnarok he is fated to fight and kill Jormundgand. In turn, he will be poisoned by its venom, walk nine steps, and die.

    Shin Megami Tensei

Thor has some recurring storyline roles in the Shin Megami Tensei series. Most notably was his major role in the first Shin Megami Tensei, where he took the guise of the American ambassador Thorman in order to close the demonic gate that opens in Tokyo. Working under YHVH, he launches a nuclear strike, but is killed by the protagonist and his allies. Despite this, the nuclear strike is not averted and Tokyo is subsequently destroyed.

He also has a role in Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, where he acts as a judge of the imprisoned in Gozu-Tennoh's Mantra Headquarters. When the Demi-Fiend is imprisoned, he must defeat Thor in order to be set free. Once accomplished, Thor decides to leave the Mantra and later in the game sides with Chiaki's Reason of Yosuga. Thor will meet and join you in the game's final dungeon if you share her philosophy, but must be fought as a boss otherwise.

    Too Human

Thor is the Aesir's fiercest warrior. Courageous and loyal beyond all doubt, Thor has gained a reputation as a slayer of Giants, and spends most of his time marshalling the war against the machines in Jotunheim.

    Valkyrie Profile

Thor's role in Valkyrie Profile is surprisingly small, only appearing in the post-chapter battlefield summaries.

In God of War, Thor is depicted as a villain. He is described as a tall, fat, and strong warrior with a violent, brutal, and destructive nature, thus Odin sent him to kill all giants to prevent the Ragnarok.

Although Thor himself is not showing up in the gameplay, his two sons Magni and Modi are bosses in God of War 2018. After Magni was killed by Kratos, Thor blamed Modi for being a coward and nearly beat him to death.

A text in the game also reveals that Thor's destined enemy is the World Serpent, and their battle in the future trembles the Yggdrasil, sending the serpent back in time to the current time.

Thor appears in the hidden ending as a man wearing a cloak, he came to Kratos's house along with thunder and storms, lifting his cloak to reveal the Mjolnir.
