wow, thats definitely a Square game... kinda shitty graphics, big boss fights, characters that are either really androgynous or really beefy, floating glyphs, and I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THE FK WAS HAPPENING!!!

He is also the voice of Niall from Dragon Age: Origins, and one of the main characters in Ergo Proxy. That's what I recognized him from.

Hm. I dunno. I think this trailer is for the 360 version. The PS3 version is called Nier RepliCant or something. One way or another, I liked this trailer better:

Looks kind of cool, but the story elements seem deliberately obscured.  Reminds me of how I felt when watching the FF XIII demo.  I knew everything would be explained later, but I was less intrigued by the vagueness than lost.

Japan is getting the Replicant version for the PS3 and this version for the 360. 

In the West both consoles are getting this version.  Only difference is that this one has a much more masculine lead character.  Regardless, the game looks dire..

Yes! I thought something felt wierd about his design and I think you're right, a rugged beard would make it a whole lot better. 
 
I'm intriuged by this, hopefully the part where it's a game isn't just awful.
