Here's The First Teaser For Dungeon Siege III

Sweet.

I didn't play the first two, but I heard a few people with good things to say about them. Just don't know if I can work more dungeon crawling into my schedule!

I really enjoyed DS II so I'm looking forward to to DS III.  It would be nice if it came out before Diablo III to help pass the time as well.

The voice actor sounded really depressed or out of it or something. Like he was sighing with every line.

I love the way Obsidian completely missed out NWN2 and Alpha Protocol, and have even counted New Vegas which isn't even out yet. 
 
In other news, I actually like the majority of Obsidians games so I have no beef with this.

Is it really beneficial to say you're the makers of a game that hasn't even come out yet?

Can't wait to see gameplay footage of this.

I love the Dungeon Siege games, despite the flaws that they both carried.  I'm psyched for this one, but as usual, I'm skeptical when the name "Obsidian" is involved.

Can't say I'm that excited having never been much of a fan of the franchise in the first place. 

Not into how they show off game titles, that haven't been released yet.  Very bad sign.  I'm not familiar with the Dungeon Siege franchise.  But I am very familiar with SE.
 
I need to see more than a tree before I can get excited.  Some concept art would help a lot.  All I know is, I really, really don't want a western fantasy themed game, with eastern fantasy influences!  I like dragons and deep forests as much as the next adventurer.  But not when I'm an adult man, with the looks of a 12 year old boy.  Strapped to the teeth in bondage gear.
 
Keep that perverted BS out of my games and I will buy it.  Take a hint from Dragon Age. 

Quick question: What the fuck was that guy saying? Mumbles needs to not be the one telling me your epic story, obsidian.

A new Dungeon Siege? Wow. It should be relatively decent if Obsidian is handling it. I'm okay with this.

I'm hoping the Xbox/PS3 versions are sort of like the BG:DA games, I really enjoyed those and I've been disappointed at the lack of other games in that genre on consoles.

Obsidion makers of Fallout New Vegas and Kotor II....and Alpha Protocol...I love that game and it makes me kinda sad that they are trying to distance themselves from that game just because it did not get the best critical response...

BTW, why didn't they say they made NWN2? That one is the only game that they have made thats actually slightly better then the prequal. I don't expect much out of FNW and KOTORII was a fucking unfinished trainwreak, It could have been soooooo good but no, they had to fuck everything up whit that game. 
 
And from what I've heard they are making their own engine for this game(I can be wrong but as long as they are involved on a technical level its all the same) so that means it won't work at all. They should outsource all the programing and other technical stuff to a company that knows what the hell they are doing so that they can focus on the things they are good at, story and characters.

But seriously, the other DS games were pretty cool, as was NWN2... except for the horrendous bugs. So with some decent quality control, this should be pretty good, I reckon.

I loved the first Dungeon Siege, and tolerated the second. I hope this third one is an improvement on the first rather than the second, but considering the difference that Obsidian made when they developed Neverwinter Nights 2, I really doubt that's what is going to happen.
 
I'll probably buy it when it eventually comes out though. I'm such an rpg fag.

On a sidenote, I wonder if the game will be ladden with bugs.

I find it odd that MS is not publishing this title.  It was a decent franchise that MS game studios published before...  I'm glad at least that Gas Powered has something to do with it though. 

Obsidian usually means less quality than the original games themselves, but I'll wait and see... I can't really formulate an opinion without even checking some gameplay trailer. But the fact that it's gonna be heavily focused on co-op doesn't really appeal to me. I like my RPG's to be single player, thank you very much. But like I said, I'll have to wait.

They're like the Sur Fine version of BioWare.
 
They don't taste as good, but they're cheaper. . . .so publishers make due.
