Holy Sh*t!  This is amazing news.  One of my fondest Dreamcast games, and the one game I would choose if I could have one (two!) arcade units.

Where's Rollcage god dammit? Remaking Hydro Thunder? C'mon! 
 
Looks fun though. Just as trashy as the Dreamcast one.

Haha, WOW. That's taken me by the balls a little bit. The thing that strikes me immediately is that landing from a hyuuuuuuuuuuuge jump doesn't seem to submerge you at all. I wanna see the boat plunge below the waves before the bouyancy catapults it back up again.

This looks pretty sweet! But I feel like it needs the whole arcade set-up to feel really awesome.

This just made my weekend.

I played Hydro Thunder last week at a Vegas arcade. Probably my favorite non-car racing game (podracers is close, though).

Looks interesting. A bit concerned that even int he debut trailer, the frame rate was a bit crappy. Hopefully that was a video rendering issue.

Hydro Thunder was only fun to play at the arcades, a home version will probably be ultimately less fun.

I loved this game in the arcades. I think a big part of it was the throttle controls on the machines though. This just wont be the same.

God damn, I loved Hydro Thunder when I ws younger. Bison Creek Pizza had a machine and it was great.

I am disappointed this is download-only. I wanted this to be more real. 

What's with the slow motion? Oh wait, that's the framerate. 

Also, Hydro Thunder isn't old enough that you could say your daddy's Hydro Thunder. Unless I underestimate breeding rates.

I definitely think Hydro Thunder is a game people still have affection for.  I can see wanting to make another one, I just don't know if this is the right way to do it.

I hope they dont ruin one of my favorite franchises... I noticed a few things missing.
They say its hydro thunder but it doesnt quite feel like hydro thunder from what was seen in the trailer.
lets see if they can deliver on the fun.
