Lego Batman 2 Features the Revolutionary Concept of Talking

The original Lego Batman's problem wasn't necessarily a lack of dialogue, but you've gotta admit, this stuff is pretty adorable.

Seems like it'd be really easy for them to put an option in there to turn off voice acting and replace it with the traditional snorts, grunts, and giggles.

It's Diedrich Bader, who voiced him in The Brave and the Bold.

I always hated the mumble and grumble shit in lego games, i for one love that they are adding actual voices and i hope this continues to be a thing in future Lego games, especially the LOTR one.

''We have to stop them...''

''Ya think?''

Hahahahha, man, I love these games. Oddly enough, the addition of voices fits surprisingly well. I was down on the idea, but from sounds like some snappy writing and stellar voice acting, I'm all for this. The original Lego Batman is undoubtedly my favourite of the lot, so hopefully this one will rank pretty close too, if it doesn't top it completely.

Also Rob Paulsen will make for a splendid Riddler.

Hah! Get it? Cause he took the money. That actually got a chuckle out of me. The ending too. I did enjoy the pantomiming in the Star Wars games, but this looks enjoyable.

I think the pantomiming worked really well in Star Wars because it's something most people already know the story too (and younger kids just got a kick out of silly stuff happening). The first Lego Batman tried to tell an original story though and was an incoherent mess.

I guess LoTR having them is arguable, but I like that they're being used here.

This might bring me back to Lego games... My last was the first Indiana jones one where I just burnt out on the concept but if the game is full of hammy jokes to this caliber, how can I resist?

Based off the E3 footage this looks like its going to be the best Superman game ever. Despite the low bar that accolade brings up I thought the open-world stuff looked pretty awesome.

EDIT: Wait, now I think I understand... I was talking about The Riddler's voice actor, not his true identity - which is of course still Edward Nigma. Least I think that's what you were confused about?

Damn, I thought I learned that buying these lego games was a waste of money.... but damn if this isn't making me question that.

Also Rob Paulsen is apparently reprising his role as the voice of Not Jim Carrey from the Mask cartoon. I do love Rob Paulsen.

I saw some LEGO LOTR, it had dialogue too. I guess it's the next new step they had to take?
