Lego Harry Potter, Years One Through Four

'Years 1-4' Is that how old you have to be to still be interested in Lego game's these days?

Yeah, I'll probably buy it.  Co-op games that appeal to my wife are few and far between.  She likes the Lego games, and we like Harry Potter.

Kind of wish this game was coming out 10 years ago, back when I was a harry potter freak.

I mean, the Lego games were kinda endearing at first.  Now they're just running rampant.

I want to see the Lego series go dark and gritty. They could of with Batman but they blew it so we need Lego Tarantino. Think about how many iconic scenes his movies have that must be pantomimed by Lego guys to get the full effect. The Like a Virgin restaurant discussion from Reservoir Dogs,  The bring out the gimp scene from Pulp Fiction, the tricking Chris Tucker in to the truck of my car so I can shoot him scene from Jackie Brown, and the toe wiggling scene from Kill Bill volume One. Free idea Travelers Tales for Lego Tarantino Volume 1. I'd save the movies he wrote (Natural Born Killers and Modern Romance) for a future third installment. 
Right now I am in talks with Mega Blox and Atari for a Toxic Avenger game. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

Well if it's being done by Traveler's Tales... It could potentially be decent. And god knows the Harry Potter franchise needs a video game that doesn't suck balls.

Harry Potter makes a lot of sense as a Lego game. I'll keep an eye on it, it might be fun. I loved Lego Batman and Lego Star Wars.

Honey, I shrunk the LEGOS

I imagine they would combine them if that's something technically feasible. Why not? It's a great deal for people who haven't picked up the other games. Personally I'm day one on this. Lego games are great couple games, both of us like Harry Potter (her more than me), and magic seems like the perfect way to do things Lego style. The video makes that clear to me.

I'm psyched. Now, would it be too hard for 3 Player Co-Op? (Possibly 4 in Free Story)

HOWEVER at comic con they revealed they are going to be making licensed Toy Story, Cars (the Pixar ones), and ....

Well, for me LEGO games have always been fun, but they're definitely starting to feel a bit dated. That said, they're games my lady can play and she absolutely loves them and she's huge into Harry Potter, so this'll probably be a day one purchase for me. 

This seems like a PERFECT fit for them. Lego Rock Band and Lego Batman seemed a little forced to me, but this seems like a good use of the property.

I'm both a big fan of Harry Potter and somebody who doesn't like their favourite franchises being tampered with. In fact I hate what the Harry Potter movies have done with the source material, but there is something about the innocent charm of Lego colliding with the universe of Harry Potter which I find delightful. I think it's because Lego doesn't take anything it does within the universe too seriously. This is actually looking like an interesting game.

This will probably be better than the other terrible Harry Potter video game movie tie-ins. And just imagine other game franchises being made into Lego versions:

Fortunately, these are only movies. At least they haven't polluted video g-*remembers Lego Rock Band* Damn it. Might as well get started on a preliminary review for LegoBigPlanet.

This could easily be the best Harry Potter game yet.
