So why did they not just put a D-Pad on one of the wand things? I know they have one that is like the Wii's nunchuck, but they should have just added a D-Pad on one to avoid the heinous rail gun shooter thing.

Rail shooters are generally lame. It has something to say when the tech demos they showed last E3 got me going more for that stuff than the games they are showing now. Maybe it get's better.
