The Nine Circles Of Dante's Inferno

I'm just not impressed with this game at all.  They took a book that would really very easily translate into a video game, made some really cookie cutter character changes and are mixing it with the far over used action game formula.  I'm just not interested.

Can anyone acutally watch this?

I love the music in these trailers but I'd like to see more gameplay!

Looks cool, to me at least. I had to study the divine comedy in high school, so I'll be interested with what they did to the fiction. I also like the graphical style, and I'm sure I won't be bored with the gameplay, because I haven't played God of War yet...

I feel the monster designs and atmosphere will make or break this game. If there bland monsters and weak atmosphere, then it'll suck.

I dont know about this game reviews are definitely needed for me to know details because right now it doesnt look like much to me.

I'm pulling for this game. Mostly because of Barlow's concept art is being turned into videogame creatures.

i dunno, it looks to me that this game will have to have somthing revolutionary  for it to be any good.  But i dunno 9 level of a different theme is kinda badly old school. Also im pretty disappointed by the character design, but giving the main character a huge sythe isnt cool, its lame. An actual medievel knight fightin against the odds would have been better.

it seems like the most interesting circles will be the earliest in the game...

i will buy anything Visceral Games makes.

Am I the only person who finds there to be a lack of games in this "genre"? Granted a large part of that is because I don't have a PS2/3 so I haven't played any of the God of War games, but really there just aren't that many around. The other big one I can think of is the Devil May Cry series, even then I've only played the 4th instalment on the PC for it. 
 
I'm just looking forward to another game like that, I always have fun with them.

Never got into GoW style games, but theres just something about the setting of this game that makes me want to try it.

Such an awful looking game.  There's no way I can support their treatment of The Divine Comedy for this God of War wannabe.

There's combat in Limbo?  What, do you do combos on Aristotle? :)
 
I think the themes resonate and the visuals must be great if they're co-designed by Barlowe.  Just hope the game play is up to scratch.

Meh. Maybe it's the PR, maybe it's the game but I'm just not feeling this one at all. I'll be picking up Bayonetta instead for my third person action fix.

Man. The (modified) Ebola font is starting to make a comeback. I first saw it return in DOW2, then some other game that I forget, and now it's in this Dante's Inferno trailer. I used to love the font, but the backwards E's made it look lame.

haha i felt the same way first time i saw that, go to hell. fuck you game. 
stoked for this though, adding it to the long list of games im a be buyin next year
