Yep, this looks pretty cool. I wonder if they'll have combat and stuff. It would be weird to have torture and dismemberment in a sims game.

 When I first heard about them taking the Sims medieval I thought it was a stupid idea, but the more I think about the more I kind of like the idea. Especially if this leads to a sims in space down the line.

I'm going to build the biggest torture chamber and fill it with iron maidens, racks, thumb screws and spiked cages. And then I'm going to lure unsuspecting Sims down there and remove the entrance so they can't pee.

That would be totally awesome. I want to build a big-ass castle!
 
My one complaint with the Sims is that it doesn't have any real lasting value, all the things you do in the game have no real consequence. I wish the game could be more like The Guild 2, where you have to work to get a position of power, and you don't just keep it for forever, if you aren't good at it, you lose it. That and having said position makes others respect you and interact differently with you, and lets you perform actions you couldn't normally do.
 
Hopefully this game does more than just Sims + medieval tileset.

This game would be way more interesting if it was realistic to medieval life for 99.99% of the worlds population.  Being covered in shit for 30 years until you die with all your money being given to the church.

Oh no, they aren't getting me again. I have purchased every Sim's game(not including expansion packs). I'll play for three or four days straight then put the game down never to play again. While this looks to be much more fun; I'm sure I'll do the exact same thing.

I take it this is the Disney version of the medieval era - all brave knights, jesters, evil barons, magic castles, dewy maidens and at least one dragon.  
 
Hopefully they can throw in a bit of Chaucerian wit rather than just rehash the Hollywood cliches.
