This game might actually be pretty freaking awesome, and I'm not even a fan of Star Wars.

Starkiller? Don't you mean Crashdown? I have a hard time thinking of him outside of BSG.

So they are just shoving every icon that will make a Star Wars game sell, and making it very similar to the Empire Strikes Back?
 
I hated the story of the first one, and I don't like the look of this one. Partially, because my hate of Starkiller will carry over.

Hope this turns out well, I have felt that the first one was lacking, I, lets hope this one turns out be something I can at least say impressed me a lot.

I think I got more enjoyment seeing Brad's first comment than watching the actual video... I'm starting to feel like Jeff about Star Wars, it's pretty dumb.

I don't get the hate for the similarities to the Empire Strikes Back. I think playing through that movie as a game would be awesome. So I don't mind the similarities, because it's still different, and it's still gonna be TFU. I'm more pumped than ever about this game.

I don't get it. I really did enjoy the first game, but hearing them discuss the story in this game made me feel like they were pretty much retelling the story of the first game.

i want to like this game but the stuff with yoda and boba fett feels lazy to me. just wish they wouldnt copy the ESB like a little brother trying to copy his big brother.

Don't understand all the hate for this game. What? Starkiller goes to Dagobah and meets Yoda? Obviously this is just  a cash grab and the game will be terrible for it. Only Luke when to Dagobah, because...BECAUSE THAT'S JUST HOW IT IS!!!

I really want this game to come out RIGHT NOW.

(Didn't actually see episode 6 until sometime after having seen 1 & 2, weird I know)

Why does it say blood twice in the ESRB? Sure, they're different types, but it's not the huge of a difference, right?

so basically they can't come up with anything fucking original really....
 
Starkiller is a clone, though more then likely you'll find out it's the real him...somehow he lived.
 
We get Yoda, on Dagobah, and Starkiller has to go to "the cave of evil" (lol wtf on that dumbass name..I mean really? you couldn't come up with something else?)
 
Boba-Fett...why him? so basically we know it's not like Starkiller will kill him or anything...not only that but he goes after them in a scene that totally mirrors ESB's?
 
but we'll have our overpowered Starkiller doing things before anyone else and showing what a badass he is...I'm sure these guys are real proud of this douchebag..since Lucas is letting them make him the most powerful force user...EVER...screw Yoda, Starkiller is the man.

I loved how Brad took advantage of the system by posting first in the video. Heh.

 I don't want to spoil my self for this game. Even thoe TFU wasn't a great game, it still had a great story which I enjoyed. 

Did I just hear the words "darker" and "grittier"?  Most overused marketing terms EVER

"We give him a name in this one." They call him "Starkiller" a hell of a lot in the first game. Did that designer not actually play the game he supposedly worked on?

I dunno, I found the first one to be kind of...janky.
 
Secondly, I find the facial animation to be totally unnatural looking in all the FMV, considering all the crazywork they did with the clone wars facial animation, you'd figure they could work that out in a game that they seem to be blown into a pretty big deal.
 
lastly, that stupid hipster hat never fails to look stupid.

Why are they ruining the original star wars story like this?  That is what games set in the past are for! 
 
Makes the original characters like Luke and Vader seem puny, its dumb.  They are trying to hard for this, lets make him a badass Jedi thing.

I don't like that they're returning to Starkiller. Bringing him "back" like this feels lazy. I cared about the story, about what was happening, not about Starkiller. I don't really think Starkiller made the game - I think it was the idea of the apprentice hunting down jedi. I thought they did that part well. But I felt no attachment to Starkiller the character.
 
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the first game. I thought the combat was pretty fun (but not without its many faults) and the overarching story was intriguing. 
 
I'll probably be picking this one up because the combat system is promised to be more of "dude with lightsaber" than "dude with baseball bat."  Hopefully they flesh Starkiller2 out more as a character.

The first game lived and died based on its story. It was easily the best Star Wars movie since the original trilogy and the gameplay was just means to an end. I'm not sure how a sequel will hold up with the same basic half-assed mechanics if the story has to make such great concessions to marketability from the get go. I'm waiting, seeing and renting on this before I make any purchase.

why do people say we haven't even scratched the surface, yet game are just as good or as bad as they were 5 years ago.

I am all kinda of meh on this game. If they fix the lightsabers then maybe...as I think if you hit a dude with a 
lightsaber they get bit cut off. Oh wait this is the force game...so only the force is any good, we need some 
Ysalamiri in this game.

I just hope they make the PC version playable this time around.
