WoW! The first shot of him he didn't have the iron thingies on his head and at the end of the video he had two. Each is given for 100 years of survitude... Did he stay there for 200 years? That's funny...

Good time to be a 40k video game fan.

I really want this game to be good.

Only two things worry me about this game:

1. That the gameplay will get repetitive after a few hours.
2. That I don't like the way the blood looks when he crushed that orks head with his boot. I know it's silly, but the way they choose to animate that blood spray seems like it should belong to a gut wound and not so much a popping of the head. I would think that a head popping would consist of more brain matter and bone then a spray of blood. The game looks like I will be doing that move a lot throughout my session with it, and I know it will drive me nuts seeing it happen every time I do.

sweetness! any why did the space marine at the start of the trailer look different than the one at the end? Were those 2 different marines? Or is the one at the end an older version of the guy at the beginning?

It's not like Cover & Shoot is any less repetitive than Walk & Shoot (it's just easier).  Plus we've just had five years of those games, so I think we can manage just one which is prepared to be a little bit different.

I like how it shows him as a newly initiated Space Marine in the start, then as a 200 year veteran with his two service studs in the end.

pretty fuckin epic.... but I'd much rather play W40k: Inquisitor. Maaaaan I loved the Inqusition Trilogy by Ian Watson. Gotta be a lot more awesome to be an inquisitor than a space marine in the 40k joint.

I just realized that it's impossible to care about this game beyond a fanwank. 
 
It's not like the Warhammer IP is going anywhere or anything.

i can only say one thing to this and that's want want want want want want WANT!  
 and i hope it's gabe angelos , would make this even better then it already looks.

Dan Abnett is a wonderful writer for 40K. I actually preferred his Ravenor series over Eisenhorn. However his Gaunt's Ghosts are the best.
