Transformers RTS?! If it is, it might actually be decent, and they could have optimus and megatron be like hero characters. That would be cool.

At least they are not using the anal raped Bay version. What I don't understand is why they have the same voice for Prime but not for Megatron.

I worry about the lack of actual game footage of this, artistically its pretty solid but they seem very hesitant to actually show the game itself.

For some reason this made me think a Transformers MMO set during the Cybertron War would be awesome, but...then i actually put some thought into it and decided otherwise. 
 
Why is it Decepticons always look so much more awesome than Autobots?

Metroplex would be awesome. But the Tryp-Metro pairing is kind of common. You don't see Omega Supreme in this kind of role a lot so I'm pretty stoked to see him in like this.

I view this game through the same nerd-beer-goggles I saw Ghostbusters through: looks hot right now... I just hope I don't wake up next to some hairy goat-pig.
 
Also, the style of the Transformers in this trailer looks way too close to the weak-ass Transformers: Animated series for me to hope that it is targeted toward a more mature, sophisticated TF audience. (yes, I realize the absurdity of what I said, and I stand by it, dammit!)

Mostly true, except the part about Animated - the designs of animated were some of the best in the history of TF.  People were just too closed-minded and wanted everything to be square and boring, like Armada.  If you bothered to watch Animated, you'd have seen that there were direct connections to the original series, and countless references to inside information that only an old-school fan would get.  It was designed to be watched with your kids, you know, something a mature and sophisticated person normally has by the time they're in their thirties.
 
So far the designs of this are exactly what i want from Transformers, something new but similar in style to the original, without looking like walking scrap metal.  You only have to look at the first episodes of the old series to see the inspiration for some of the "futuristic" designs (something that was done with Animated as well).
