Worth Playing 08/02/2013

DarkfalzX's is a wonderful pixel artist. As for the game's actual gameplay, I played the demo and really could not get into playing it at all.

Also, I need to go check out Experiment 12 now...

Experiment 12 looks fascinating. Be Good looks like hot garbage- but a very interesting concept there.

Please play more experiment 12 that looks sick! and nauseous! I'm done with the lame jokes but this feature is pretty sweet, also glad to see you producing plenty of content still in Chicago as promised, thanks duder!

Patrick, you're great and everything, but how is it possible that every video you post has the worst audio mix ever. You're too quiet. Game's too loud.

Thanks for covering these @patrickklepek, some of them could definitely use the exposure. And I agree, coverage of lesser known games like this is quickly becoming some of my favorite GB content.

Legend of Iya is SO mid-lifecycle PS1 game. It looks pretty neat!

I wish Experiment 12 had a Mac release.

Anybody find a way to play it on osx?

I DO feel the need to be that asshole and point out that it's Jasper "BURN", not Jasper "BRINE." Sorry, but I think I winced when you did it a second time, haha. Regardless, keep up the great work!

I am also not into naps. They screw up my sleep schedule to much.

Really enjoying experiment 12, just finished chapter 6 and let me tell you, it's of one the most infuriating things ever, but quite an awesome thing once you get it.

I liked the first two chapters of Experiment 12 but it lost me after that. Especially the really weird anti-government "Grow your own food" one.

There is a fine line between pretentious bullshit and art and I think Be Good and Experiment 12 is a good example of both sides. Be Good had an interesting idea I suppose but came off as total nonsense and that guitar was overbearing. Funny credits though. Experiment 12 looked really interesting and I am guessing that the games are trying to convey an abstract take on being in a fever dream. I would love to see more of that

Legend of Iya looks to have promising potential, it would be good if it uses a 16 bit retro audio track sombre in tone to go with the setting.

Describing "Be Good" as amateur hour Neverhood sounds about right, even down to the jazzy soundtrack.

lolz. the developer of "the legend of iya" might as well took the money and ran. he hasn't released the game yet. i mean i understand hes practically the only one working on it but from what i've read hes been working on this for a really really really long time and i doubt he'll ever finish it. its funny because Patrick mentioned in the video above about said developer that , "i'm not one of those guys who just trying to take your money and run". anyways i lold.
