Debut teaser. It's very annoying being so lengthy, yet most of is text. Translation anyone?

So, see, more and more JRPGs coming after DQX was announced. Tales of Graces, Arc Rise Fantasia, The Crystal Bearers, and now this. Yay.

Graphics were pretty awesome for a Wii game.

The moustached dude could be in Punch-Out!! for all I care. I think Tales of Graces looks MUCH better than this so far. But we didn't see much of this while we've seen cities, the overworld, and other elements of ToG so it's not fair to compare yet. Or ever, they'll probably not be similar.

The PS2 games were solid, might have to check this out.

It gets much better in the second half of the anime.

The remake should be loads better though seeing as how the anime and manga are not even comparable..

What the fuck do you know about this game? Clearly it already interests people who aren't even into the anime (namely, me). It's a Square-Enix JRPG, and that's pretty much ALL there is to it so far. What's wrong with you? Sure, it may suck. But you might as well condemn all other Square games with it if you're going to be this hasty in judging it, eh?

I'm not optimistic about games that borrow licenses or are spin-offs. In fact, the only good game of that variety I've played is Riddick.

So, it's not possible they have improved the formula (if they even use the same?) since? The 2nd PS2 game got better reviews than the first. The third wasn't released in the West so we don't know.

Chocobo's Dungeon sure made a better Wii game than it was on PS1. Effort is all that matters, not the past.

As a person who truly believes that FMA was not only amongst the best cartoons ever made, but one of the best television shows ever, full stop, I am extremely pleased about this.  My daughters will be even more so.  I'm a realist and don't expect this game to get a score in the 80s let alone the 90s, but a score in the 60' and 70s will be a win for me.  When you enjoy a show as much as FMA and add it to a genre of games that you enjoy the most, being JRPG, then you personally add at least 10 to the score.

As a fan of the series and a person interested to see how the remake play out I'm interested in this game. That said, this is probably going to be absolute dog shit. I have very little faith in games adapted from animes beyond which we've already seen FMA fail in game form.

Hoping for the best. Knowing it's going to be the worst.

Along with Death Note, FMA is my favorite anime. That doesn't mean I wanna play a game about it.
