The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
House of the Dead: Overkill IGN Review
Yeah, it seems like a good game.
I loved playing House of the Dead 3 back in the arcades with my friends. It was so much fun! Overkill seems like a hilarious and more gruesome version of it.
Looks like I finally have a reason to buy a game for the Wii. And buy some AA batteries for the Wiimote. And take the Wii out of the box. And get my component cable back of my cousin.
I bet you think that was entertaining, or clever. Sad.
As as sidenote, what will the haters that jumped to make conclusions based on some foreign language rumour do now? Maybe apologise to people they insulted simply because they didn't think it was real, or that if it was, it likely wouldn't represent the game's merits? Oh, no...
I'm disappointed with the frame skipping/freezing issues mentioned. House of the Dead 3 doesn't have them and actually seems to have higher quality character models and other major elements, even if it lacks things like ragdoll physics. Then there are other games that look better still and yet aren't on rails and have no issues either. It seems it was rushed out because, considering it's from the developers of Battalion Wars 1 & 2, they should have been able to achieve much better things with the Wii, it's not like they don't know Nintendo hardware. Hopefully it'll get a sequel that improves it all.

It's a very "test the waters" kind of game. f this one sells well, which I'm positive it will, the next one up will probably have amazing production values.

I get the same impression also.
I can see this selling very well.
With the issuse it has it's still a great game for Wii, I'm happy with the game its even better with 2 players a fun ride
Yeah VC is great, I don't have a PS3 yet but I got the game for my cousin. Sega has been doing Ok. Looking foward to Phantasy Star 0 and Portable, Madworld and Sonic's genesis collection. My point was, Sega has been well... *cough*SonicUnleashed*cough*.
I add this game as well to my wanted list.
