Although no official word on why it changed its name it was probably due to the fact that Kingpin: Life of Crime suffered heavy criticism for its over-the-top violence. The game was released close to the Columbine shooting, and a congressman even blamed the game for the tragedy that had occurred. Several big retailers refused to sell the game after that, and Xatrix decided to re-release the game with toned down violence and bleeped over profanities. The following games were released under the studio name Xatrix Entertainment:Cyberia (1994)Cyberia 2: Resurrection (1995)Redneck Rampage (1997)Redneck Rampage: The Early Years (1997)Redneck Deer Huntin' (1997)Redneck Rampage Rides Again (1998)Quake II: The Reckoning (expansion) (1998)Kingpin: Life of Crime (1999) Font-sizeParagraphHeader 4Header 3Header 2 Quote Link Img Table TweetClean sizeSMLpositionLCRUDchangeCreditDeletesizeSMpositionLRUDchangetitle 1title 2captiondelete×Edit Image TitleTitle: ×Embed ImageWhat size image should we insert?
