It'll be 1am here when it starts. Might just have to download the game again. Though I'm guessing I'll get my butt kicked... as usual :-)

I, too, predict that the room will be full the entire time wit the same people. Might as well get in the room now and wait around for 8 and a half hours!

Doubt I'll be able to play but the live stream is always an awesome time!

Technically all official maps work correctly with 32 players as they all have 12+ spawn points per side. Given the wide range of player skill in this community in particular, a 32 player cap would likely be doing the server a favor.  The ideal balance of a 24 player match only works when you assume everyone is on a similar skill level. When a match only has 12v12, if one team has a majority of lower skilled players while the other has 2-3 that are very proficient, then the minority is able to have a far greater effect compared to if they were only 2-3 in a 16v16 match. "

I just played on the Server for a few fours, pretty fun. Although you need to add a few mods to the server. Like Votescramble,etc

Eh... I don't know... I've been playing on GB server since morning and my ping was always near 200-210. So if you want go and play do that... it's fun there... oh and Europa here... Poland if you want more.

It's going to be a while before I get in. I give them credit for going with a 24 man server, though .

Man i have seen some TF2 videos but none in which they speak and they are hilarious. 
A good amount of cursing as well. Hopefully I can make it to TNT but I will probably only be able to watch it.

Alright the same 24 people have been in the Giantbomb server for the past 3 hours and it's clear they have no intentions of leaving.  Are there going to be regular kicks so more people get a chance to play?

I would be in, but I don't think I'd be able to handle waiting hours for a server spot. I'll watch on the stream.

Woah, just re-installed Team Fortress 2 and realised how much I hate this game.

I think the highlight of this whole thing is all the stupid/awesome Team Fortress 2 videos that are getting posted. And this thing hasn't even started yet. Awesome. Sweet banner too.
 
I hope you guys (at Giantbomb) are archiving those banners. You've had some awesome ones. Especially Enemy Drew getting stalked by Splinter Vinny for the MW2 one.

Well seeing as the server is full 24/7 I'm afraid I might not be able to join you Giant Bomb guys in a game of TF2.
