Of course!  I could easily say I listen to only old school rap but I don't.  There is an incredible amount of good hip-hop that was released in the last few years like DJ Spinna, Tanya Morgan, John Robinson, Blu, Diamond District, Madlib, Oh No, Fashawn, MF Doom, Crown City Rockers, The Lone Wolf, Y Society, Percee P and this doesn't include any artists from earlier in the decade still releasing gold like Talib Kweli, Wu-Tang Clan, Common etc.

I suppose you have to trust I avoid bad rap.

@jakob187:  I buy games one year late abouts and by the time I got the game, multiplayer wasn't a consideration at all.  Besides I've got my PC multiplayer mainstays I go to that are dedicated for that (currently Team Fortress 2 and Killing Floor).  For me personally I have no interest in a Red Faction multiplayer because they can only do so much if they don't totally focus on it, which I don't want anyway.  I say let the single-player shine.  That's just me.

Street Fighter IV.  Whenever Jeff says that game is good for people to enter the series, I straight want to punch him.  NO IT'S NOT.  That game has a horrible tutorial and in no way makes the effort to teach you how to actually play the game you came to play.  Instead it just says fuck you and leaves you alone to do it yourself.  If you do know how to play, then yes it's great but not to beginners.

That and their inexplicable hate towards The Ballad of Gay Tony and Demon's Souls.  A lot of times they are on the right track but slip up at the very end.  RTS's I agree are too complicated for their own good (being stuck in the combination base build + RTS combat needs to end)  and inverted controls.  They never mention console vs. PC, just that inverted controls suck.

I do agree with a vast majority of what they say and I'm consistently pleased that I'm not the only one not impressed or entertained at all by Anime or Final Fantasy VII.  I can totally understand Jeff's hate for Star Wars because yo that shit is made lame outside of the original trilogy, group of good games, and the first Clone Wars cartoons.  Ryan's snobbish tone aside, I really agree with most of what he says although he is a bit severe in reviews vs. Brad who is more lenient.  I'm really nitpicking though.

I'm pretty sure Diablo 3 is confirmed 2011.

Oh and the list has been updated to include new information and newly announced Valve crazy.

There is plenty of time over the rest of the year for games to be added, so chill, I've bookmarked this thread so your suggestions will be read again later.

This means games that were previously exclusive to the Wii by design don't have that intrinsic limitation.  That means we can see motion controller games (plus with camera stuff maybe) with higher fidelity graphics.  I think it's a smart move on Sony's part to play both Microsoft's and Nintendo's markets to provide a happy middle.  Free online but not amazing service, 3rd party games on par with 360's quality, a very good roster of exclusive titles, and now a casual market entry with a possibility to add functionality to otherwise controller-only games.

I like it (although the name could have been better.  Abbreviated, PSM is going to be confusing, unless people are going to call it "the Move" which is weird.  Not horrible like the Wii but not good either".

I'm sorry but this is the best Dawn of War intro regardless.  That and my persona favorite intro.

My continued visitation to GameSpot says that they are not.  They are arguably more against being pushed around by suits than the previous lot was.

I like this idea because sometimes people move on or get fired but that doesn't mean the world ends (and look at what can happen, Giant Bomb!) so despite me having never visited 1UP, I can see what is happening from both sides.

Well is it really mature if you actively avoid those are are intelligent enough to use humor like that in good fun?  Personally i don't see an adult not doing this over a child.  It's overly pompous douchebags and baguettes that stick their nose in the air and avoid any kind of behavior like this that call us out on this kind of stuff and it makes me sick.

YES!  I haven't played Deus Ex in years but for some reason this screams Deus Ex to me.

@demontium:  Because they are attempting to salvage what credibility they have after it was shattered by their complete focus on the casual market.

That and Itagaki leaving Team Ninja means PR is way easier for them (he's not the most gracious employee we'll say).
