Overwatch, even though focusing on the podcast does affect me playing.

It's definitely inconsistent, but there are self contained episodes and arcs, so you don't miss much by skipping around. The series does a much better job than the prequels at making Obi-wan and Anakin actual characters.

I lost 60 lbs from going from an all soda and junk food diet to a no soda and slightly less junk food diet. There was some limited exercise involved, but just watching your calories can make all the difference in the world. Try to make easy changes to your diet that you could see as being permanent (no soda being the easy one), otherwise you will gain all the weight back.

Call of Duty. I actually liked the shooting in all those other games better, but I'm such a sucker the Battlestar Galactica, military type of sci-fi that Call of Duty did this year. On a side note, it was nice to have a Battlefield campaign that wasn't the worst thing I've played (a nice change of pace from 3 & 4).

How in the holy fuck did this make it into the final game. They take away your weapons, warping, magic, and party members. You can't sprint. There's awful stealth. About 30 jump "scares" that are the same two things every time. You're fetching keycards. It lasts like two fucking hours. The whole slog feels it's out of a PS2 game and antithetical to the rest of the game, which would all be fine if it were 10 minutes and not two hours.

I feel like I should mention the completely useless information that Prompto is an MP, but there was absolutely no context, meaning, or consequences to that reveal. Maybe I'm not paying attention, but that kind of describes the whole story for me. Did this kill the game for anyone else?

Oh, you'll find plenty of story. The plot heavy stuff picks up around Chapter 10 or so. I happen to think it's an incoherent mess that makes absolutely no sense, but maybe that's because I didn't read all the lore and watch the anime.

I haven't used them, as it's just one additional thing I don't have to think about or manage, but I do equip them for the stat bonuses.

They went out of their way to make it look and feel like the other Gears games and they succeeded. Also, I thought the cutscenes actually looked pretty amazing. It didn't look like there was facial capture, but they were still very well animated.

The Windows store really did not like it when I tried to pause and resume the download. It's fucking infuriating when you're downloading a 70GB+ game with no way to cap your limited download speed. I don't understand how Microsoft is so far behind Steam and Origin with this stuff. Maybe the store was never meant for such huge files, but with the introduction of crossplay, you would think they would have their shit together by now.

People keep saying they understand Mario Maker's limitations due to technical reasons, but forget that it's 2016 and the 3DS is an online capable console. There's no excuse.
