Tried to go without this time around. Made it one match then turned motion back on.
I'm just not quick enough without the motion aiming. I never play FPS games so I'm super rusty with dual analog controls. Also, I get panicky when lining up a shot, so I like being able to fine tune my aim, like in BotW.
I don't think they should get a pass, nor will they. But Splatoon is probably not going to be the game to force change.
The solution they have is terrible. They need to fix it. The rubber will probably meet the road in 2018 when they start charging for the online services. That, or when a game that moreso benefits from communication is released.
Advance Wars Days of Ruin. The aesthetic is not as good as older entries, but the speed of the game was much snappier and I got a lot of use out of the online play.
I really hope Vinny allows Dan to tell the entire play by play on his next Beastcast. Dan has a great way of making every event in his life sound hilarious.
If Nintendo can't secure at least a couple of Rare's games for this, I barely even see the point of it.
Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time are the other obvious highlights but I already have about 4 ways of playing them.
Banjo Kazooie and/or Tooie would be fantastic. I'd even settle for Diddy Kong Racing. Nintendo and Microsoft seem to be improving their relationship so maybe this has a chance of happening. Otherwise it'll probably begin and end with Donkey Kong 64.
I'd be happy to see one of the Cruisin games make it in. USA, World, or Exotica.
Rayman 2 is a personal favorite as well. I know the 64 version is not the best, but it gets the job done.
I'm struggling to think of too many obscure games for the system that I'd personally want.
I actually would like to see them do a Gameboy or GBA mini with a backlit screen.
