Awesome, I've truly missed these a lot. I know that technically a lot of this years content has been very UPF-like, but there's something about these bite sized pieces of multiple different games that just works very well. Sometimes watching a single game for more than an hour will get a little dull for me, so I'm super excited for this.

I MISSED THIS SO MUCH

I watched the old games show episode with sewer shark about a week ago so it's funny seeing it come up again.

The work the crew have done to put this thing together is incredible. Like, Giant Bomb is leading the way in video game streaming tech. They could run workshops showing folks how to get this stuff together, it’s wild.

According to Wikipedia Sewer Shark was shot on VHS (What else?) for a canceled state of the art VHS console by Hasbro. The footage was later heavily compressed using a custom codec onto a CD when the game switched platforms to the Sega CD. There was no Mini DV in 1992, or anytime before 1995.

@janman That Disney zombie thing you talk about sounds like the short lived BBC Zombie tv series called "In the flesh" - If you can find it somewhere it was really good. The zombies are dead but they're able to restore their brains with medication (They remain dead) but can function and they can remember everything they did as a zombie. They live with their old family around the people they remember killing family members of.

lol, Alex's face keeps lighting up intermittently in the corner during Zombies and I keep thinking something is going on down there but it's just him staring wide-eyed out of the screen.

I would adore a Slam Masters spiritual follow up that doubled down on it being a fighting game but kept ALL the wrestling mechanics.

But I’m amazed that people are still mocking the Space Force. Space warfare is an inevitability. The Space Force already has plenty of responsibilities formerly shouldered by the Air Force. It’s like mocking the Navy because “duh, we live on land.”
