His mega hadouken thing always hits with the sounds of children laughing.

It's pretty out of character, not really explained anywhere, and kind of nuts. He also does it in Marvel vs Capcom 3, but you only hear it for a slight second, really quietly:

Thanks! At first I didn't know when the sound would occur. Now I know where it is I definitely hear it. I can't hear it in the MVC video, though.

Never really noticed in AE. But definitely always hear in Marvel.

To those who can't hear it, check the Marvel vs. Capcom video; grab a decent pair of headphones, and listen closely to the right channel at 0:57. There's no mistaking it.

wow rather weird. It took me a while to hear it but it is definitely there. Very quiet and subtle, quite odd.

Maybe Akuma's power comes from the cries and tears of scared children?

Also the audio is more clear on the Street fighter 4 video than the M vs C 3. You really need decent headphones for that one.
