Y'ever notice this about Akuma?

His mega hadouken thing always hits with the sounds of children laughing.

It's pretty out of character, not really explained anywhere, and kind of nuts. He also does it in Marvel vs Capcom 3, but you only hear it for a slight second, really quietly:

If anyone knows what the hell that's about, I'd like to hear it.

Nope, I don't hear it. There must be something wrong with you.

@Ravenlight: 12 seconds into the first video, just as the move ends. You really don't hear it?

@Icemael:

Okay maybe there's something wrong with me. I listened to that part like five times the first time I watched and never heard it.

I listened to it again and now I can totally hear it. Maybe it's a conspiracy.

I just got an achievement.

To be fair, while I heard it, it's really faint. In fact, it's possible that I invented the sound.

@Video_Game_King:

So it is a conspiracy! A moon conspiracy...

*readies dubstep to counter inevitable obscure JRPG soundtracks*

Can't hear it man

Thanks! At first I didn't know when the sound would occur. Now I know where it is I definitely hear it. I can't hear it in the MVC video, though.

Never really noticed in AE. But definitely always hear in Marvel.

I just got half an Achievement, and i don't even know who this Akuma girl is. So thank you.

That's kinda creepy. I guess?

Wow, that's pretty fucked up!

To those who can't hear it, check the Marvel vs. Capcom video; grab a decent pair of headphones, and listen closely to the right channel at 0:57. There's no mistaking it.

0:57 at the Marvel video, when he charges his punch. 0:12 in the first video, after the move.

wow rather weird. It took me a while to hear it but it is definitely there. Very quiet and subtle, quite odd.

yeah, no idea

Maybe Akuma's power comes from the cries and tears of scared children?

Also the audio is more clear on the Street fighter 4 video than the M vs C 3. You really need decent headphones for that one.

Akuma is friend to all children

interesting

Maybe it's one of the developer's kids laughing? Snuck it in and future people left it?

Wow, what the hell? That really is kinda creepy.
