A Natural Tetralogy Seems to Be Emerging In Darksiders 2
@Alphazero: the trailer seems to suggest that this game might take place concurrently with the first one
but then again, we're dealing with God stuff here, so anything goes.
However it goes: Very excited for the game. I loved the first one.
Anyone else can't view the video? Some "Stream not found" error.
@Alphazero:
A Darksiders tetralogy would be amazing. I'm glad Darksiders was enough of a success to warrant further games.
You might run into the other horsemen since it takes place at the same time War is doing his thing in the first game.

yes, it's been confirmed that Darksiders II runs concurrently with the original's story. I was a little disappointed to hear that at first, but... dude, it's more Darksiders! I'm not complaining.
Okay, you can't say, "Before time was born..." in the opening, only to follow it with, "War destroyed Earth before its designated hour...".
The "Hour" can't exist, if "Time" hasn't even been born yet.
Do you think I'm not paying attention, THQ? Do you think I don't care, THQ?
I caught that also, maybe time as in mankind's universe. Otherwise as Thomas of Aquinas would have pointed out..but there was only God then I believe, no angels or demons either. I'm pretty sure that you cannot have change without time, but I still can't figure out how science messes with 'something from nothing' Mind you, I only used Thomas because he is mentioned everytime I read a popular-ish science book on cosmology or such.
For those of you who missed Deaths chaos mode its around 1:01 in the video. classic angel of death, doesn't look like it'll disappoint
I should maybe play the Demo of the first game again and see if I can get into it. It seems like a decent series, well, it's not quite a series yet.

Wait what? You're molding to completely separate thoughts together. Before time was born, three kingdoms were created, one for the Angels, one for the Demons and a third kindgom for Man. Skip forward some eons and the kingdom of man is destroyed before it's ready to defend itself.

Gentlemen, allow me to explain this complex series of events using the aid of this before-timeline:

Your table could be more accurate in terms of ratio. It seems like the period between stuff starts and the apocalypse is 100 years.
But seriously good job.

Looks awesome! First game was awesome and this also looks awesome.
But, didn't the ending of the first game imply:That all of War's brothers were coming to earth?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-O_OgCWXuyU#t=6m7s
I thought so.
Regardless, all I got to say after that trailer is FUCK YES.
I get it confused with DarkStalkers :S A game I haven't even played!I could never get myself to pass the 1st hour of any Zelda games and I really enjoy the 1st DarkSider.
But I can't never remember the game's name quite right, I always get it confused with Darksector or the numerous tile that starts with Dark and S'something
You realize when people call it "mature" they're not talking about that, don't you? They're talking about its violence and ESRB rating.Darksiders has one of the stupidest stories I've ever seen in a game and I sincerely worry about people who call it a "mature" Zelda because it's mature like Black Metal and Mountain Dew. Still, I ultimately thought it was a pretty fun game after I got past the first dungeon.
I really liked Darksiders, but it's kind of weird to have a protagonist who's face does not animate.
I felt the same way. I love the art style and bought the art book; but the game just didn't do anything for me. Oh well.

Selling "You play as Famine/Pestilence" is going to be harder for any successive sequels.
It's not Famine and Pestilence in this series. It's Strife and Fury. I wish they'd kept Famine and Pestilence. I can totally see Pestilence as a playable character with stuff like locust swarms and such. Strife and War, judging by their names, seem like they'd be really similar though.
