Abaddon is a realm or entity mentioned in Christian and Judaic theological works. Abaddon is also the name of several different angelic characters which have appeared in many games.
Akara is a High Priestess in the order of the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye. She was described by Warriv as being the leader of the Rogue Encampment.
A playable character in Diablo II. The Amazon focuses on non-magical ranged combat.
The maiden of anguish. She controls the monestary with her army of undead and is the final boss of Diablo II's first act.
The Assassin is one of the expansion characters in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. She uses her traps to destroy her enemies.
Azmodan, the Lord of Sin, is one of the Lesser Evils in the Diablo universe. He is the final boss of Act III in Diablo III.
Baal, the Lord of Destruction, is one of the Prime Evils who rules over Hell in the Diablo series. Despite being imprisoned within the body of the mage Tal Rasha, he eventually laid siege to Mount Arreat in the hope of destroying Sanctuary's most guarded secret: The Worldstone.
The Barbarian is one of the five new classes introduced in Diablo II, a mammoth of a man who uses his brute strength and warcries against the enemy as a one-man army. The class is the first to ever return in a subsequent Diablo game, and it is implied that the Barbarian character in Diablo III, if male, is the same man who fought Diablo twenty years earlier in Diablo II.
Belial is one of the Lords of Evil in Diablo III. He's the primary villain in Act II.
The playable rogue in the original Diablo. By Diablo II, however, she has been corrupted by Andariel's power and serves as a boss in the second game.
The Blacksmith of the Rogue Encampment in Diablo II. She was raised in the Sisterhood of the Sightless Eye, though her parents were apparently barbarians
Covetous Shen is an eccentric jeweler from Xiansai. In Diablo III he serves as the gem crafter for the player.
Deckard Cain is a scholar, and the last of the Horadrim. He identifies items for the player, in addition to providing advice for various quests.
Diablo 3 Character
Diablo is the Lord of Terror and the most powerful of the three Prime Evils of the Diablo Universe.
One of two classes added in the "Lord of Destruction" expansion pack to Diablo II, the Druid can channel the powers of nature against his enemies, summon spirits and creatures to aid him, or transform his body into a nimble werewolf or hulking werebear.
Duriel is the Prince of Pain, and one of the Lesser Evils of Hell. As punishment for helping to engineer the Dark Exile of the Prime Evils, he now guards the tomb of Tal Rasha against any mortal foolish enough to interfere with the plans of the Three.
A legendary countess, infamous for her many and varied sadistic crimes, most famously torturing as many as 600 innocent young women to death, with pop culture inaccurately suggesting that she bathed in their blood to stay young forever.
A good-hearted blacksmith that provided the player with new weapons and armor in Diablo. He makes a cameo appearance in Diablo II as a zombie.
The Archangel of Valor and head of the Angiris Council, his fervor against Diablo's forces causes a rift among the angels.
Archangel Inarius had a major part to play in the creation of Sanctuary and that of the Worldstone.
Betrayer of Tyrael. The one that tells the Prime Evils about the Soulstone and the connection with the Worldstone.
The once king of Khanduras was driven insane by Diablo and his adviser Lazarus. In death he became the Skeleton King.
Archbishop Lazarus, chief warden of the Primal Evil Mephisto's soulstone, acts as false adviser to King Leoric and plays a large hand in helping Diablo escape his imprisonment.
Leah is a major NPC in Diablo III, where she is introduced as Deckard Cain's assistant and adoptive daughter. Her biological parents are Adria the Witch, seen in the first Diablo, and Aidan, better known as Diablo II's Dark Wanderer.
The Queen of the Succubi, daughter of Mephisto and mother of the first Nephalem, Lilith is a recurring figure throughout the expansive lore of the Diablo franchise. She first briefly appeared in Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and leaves texts in Diablo III: Reaper of Souls, but returns as the central antagonist of Diablo IV.
A key character in Diablo II.
Mephisto is the Lord of Hatred who is described as the eldest of the three brothers.
One of the six character classes in Diablo III, the Monk is a supremely skilled martial artist with an emphasis on speed, precision, spiritual focus, and renewal of body and mind.
A playable character in Diablo II and its expansion Lord of Destruction.
