It's my understanding that there are no longer any staff working specifically for Anime vice and it is all community run. Well that was what i last heard, I'm not sure if that has changed recently or not. "
Anime Vice doesn't exist anymore. The staff at whiskey all hated anime so they never had any interest in working with John and Gia on the site when they where there. Once they left though the site became a ghost town. They still have some guys writing stupid articles on there, but it's nothing of note. Makes me sad too. AV had one of the best communities and the Staff on the site was always interacting with the community and talking with us and doing things with us, while places like GB you never hear from the guys. Or at least I have never seen them. I think I saw Ryan and Vinny reply to something once, but that's it. Tested and screened are a bit better at actually interacting with the community regularly, but GB I have never seen do it.
There was a real sense of community over at Anime Vice, and it makes me sad to know that it's been destroyed.
Also, I remember paying $1.99 for a giantbomb app... so it kind of sucks to see this new paid mobile site coming out >_>" Especially since that app was DOA.
Still, it looks good. I didn't see any forums though, which is kind of sad.
I'll be in Canada at that point so the one time the PST works to my advantage is when I'm not in GMT to exploit it. I'll try my best to be there though. I <3 Whiskey Media.
Hopefully this'll be archived, 'cause I work until 1 and am going through a serious catastrophe in my life right now. 8 hours of humor/general awesomeness sounds totally great.
Just curious if Anime Vice is still a Whiskey Media thing, since you guys neglected to mention it in the post, heh. My apologies if this has already been adressed.
This seems cool. I have some classes that day, I don't know if I'll be able to watch :P I won't be able to watch all of it. Probably only 4hrs of it. :(
