A little while ago on the Bethesda Blog Twitter page, they announced "Fallout 3 DLC news in a few." Then linked to a GameTab article detailing two new DLC add-ons: Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta, which will arrive this summer.

The article also states that all of the DLC will also be available this summer on the Playstation 3, and that "Game of the Year" versions of Fallout 3 that include all previously released DLC add-ons will be available in October.

Kotaku also ran their story minutes after the Tweet went out.

Good news for PS3 owners, for sure. Myself being one of them. I'm still getting a 360 in June, though. Along with Fallout 3 and it's DLC. Heh.

That's great news for the PS3 player base.

I have the game on PC, so I'm most excited about the new DLC. I figured they had done their last DLC with Broken Steel.

Yeah, it's awesome news for PS3 owners. I've got the game on PS3 currently, and one of my major reasons for wanting to get a 360 next month was the DLC. I guess, aside from having to wait for it to be released, that point doesn't matter much anymore. Haha. Still getting one, though. Want to play Fable 2, and such.

Let's not let this turn into a war, however. All Fallout 3 fans, regardless of platform, can rejoice! Cheers.

I was just going to start a post about  a GOTY addition for the PS3 and here it comes.  getting the game plus the 5 add-ons for $60 is a great deal if you can wait till Oct.

I have been craving new Fallout 3. As a PS3 only-owner this announcement is almost like a new game. 5 NEW DLC PACKS ON THE WAY!

Great to hear, guess i'll wait then til its all released on the PS3 and give it another shot; hoping they do a discounted deal for the PS3 to get it all at once so I don't just go by the Game of the year Edition. I was planning on "getting" it for the PC as I was disappointed with my PS3 version being DLCless but i'll just wait now.

Sweet. I'll wait until the GOTY edition comes out. I knew Bethseda couldn't resist putting one out, so i was wondering when it was going to be announced.

The game is going to be bloody huge when i get it with the 5  add-ons included.

Well it sounds like they are doing it online DLC as well instead of just the GOTY edition; so if they have an all 5 DLC packs for say 40 bucks i'd rather save 20 bucks than shell out for another copy of the game as my CE is just collecting dust...

This is great news. Well, except the GOTY edition. Damn it Bethesda, why must I buy your stuff as soon as it comes out at a premium cost! Aah, I guess I saw it coming anyway. This news could only be made better by the announcement of PLAYABLE LIBERTY PRIME.

Sweet deal. I wasn't a big fan of Fallout 3 personally, but the more that get to enjoy it the merrier.

I bought the game before renting it...HUGE mistake. I got bored about 13 hours into and it laid on my self for two months Until I sold it a week ago. I never even finished the game. 

Eh true enough but would have to wait til October to play 10 more dollars for a physical disk; gotta see what im playing when the DLC is released on the PSN.

I wonder if we'll get more alien weaponry, and/or an alien companion, that would be sweetness. Also, I wonder where the point lookout will take place, I know it's in a swamp, but what region specifically.

EDIT: Read the interview and I learned that point lookout will be in Maryland. =)

I wonder how many days / weeks it will take for the new DLC to work this time.
