Cmon, be honest.
well you dont have to i guess
Are you good at games?
I just spent a few hours driving at the same piece of wall in Trials so I have a pretty low opinion of my skill level right now...
yeah this probably shouldn't have been a poll. then again, polls are fun!Above average at most competitive multiplayer games. I can be pretty bad when it comes to single player game puzzles and I'm not very good at Rockstar games, dying in them a lot.
EDIT: i mean like its a pretty complicated question; everyone has games they are good at and ones they suck at. maybe this is more useful as a barometer of self-esteem or something
I am probably not the most naturally gifted video game player but there are a few games (the games that require planning and strategery) that I am probably better at than most but I am still pretty average when dumped into a new situation. In saying that I will stick with a game until I become good at it. For example, in Trials Evolution, I am trying to get a gold medal on all the tracks. For the most part, I can do so with a little practice on the course but can few times obtain a gold on the first run.
I'll be honest...
not really. I'm okay at games. i play games to have fun. I could care less about my position on a leader board
Yeah I'm pretty good at most games, my coordination and reflexes are pretty decent so I rarely outright suck.
(me too)I'll be honest...

BEST IN THE WOOOORLD!! /cmpunk
Nah, not really. I can be good. I've been exceptionally good at various games in the past, but I think now most of the time I just don't care enough to be good.
So I'm going to say "Yes" with the caveat that I rarely care enough to be good.
don't sell yerself short. you are much more agreeable/easier to watch than most solo lp dudes and those mlg fools too!I'M MLG PRO HEADSHOTZ 360 LEGIT XXX FOLLOW ME ON YOUTUBE!
Honestly probably not really. I can beat most any game and I'm the best out of my friends. But competitively? Nah. I'm just kinda decent at all games, but excel at none. Unless I put in a crazy amount of time into it. But I feel like everyone is good at any one game of they play the fuck out of it
It depends on the game. I would go as far as to say that I am generally very good at RPGs. Every RPG I have played in the last 2 years I have played on the hardest difficulty. I also was in platinum league in Starcraft 2 but when it comes to shooters I am complete shit.
well at least you didnt unknowingly fuck your own momI'm the best.
Because hubris.

Or so I think... I did kill a dude who looked at me funny and married his former wife.
Uh oh.
Good enough to complete nearly any game on normal difficulty. I could probably beat harder difficulties on many games but I rarely bother.
Competitively I would say I'm squarely average. I don't play online much but when I do I don't do absolutely terribly in most games. I'm best at fighters and FPS and worst at RTS.
Im a bit above average when it comes to multiplayer shooters but then Im kinda just alright at vidya games
Before I started getting into StarCraft II, I probably would have said the genre I perform the worst at is RTS games however because I stuck with it, I managed to get into diamond league. I think if anyone truly wants to get better at a competitive game, they can do so; it just requires the time commitment.
I suck at most competitive games. I can get stuck on a puzzle in a Lego game. I have lost to the AI in numerous RTS games. I can't really do much beyond Hard difficulty on Rock Band. I can tank well enough in WoW.
Honestly, I'm probably not that good a gamer. But its not going to stop me from playing them :D
halo i used to wreck at my skills have atrophied since then though.
its just i cant find any really good competitve fpses i hate cod ever since 4. and i like tf2 but alas the thrill is gone
well i assume leaderboards are popular for a reason, but you're right, it doesn't matter at all in the grand scheme of things.Where are the options for 'it depends...' and 'who fucking cares about how good you are at games'?
congrats on being right
First gaming experience was an isometric game involving a big pixelated lizard and gorilla trying to kill each other and a game called Sidewinder...I guess all those years of gaming made me somewhat adept at gaming. Not good at sports games though...
Usually after every Shogun 2 multiplayer game, team mates are thanking me for advising them in how to win. This is because I am very skilled.
As you can see in this video 11: 33, this is not just the greatest flank in a video game, it is probably the greatest flank in history. His gatlin gun becomes distracted by horses and I totally destroy him with my skills.
Great at PC Shooters, was quite competitive back in early 2000's. Not anymore and probably significantly worse in my older age.
I'm alright, I can beat most games on hard but I don't have the patience for a lot of new game+ style challenges, like the Dark World in Super Meat Boy or Dead Space 2 with only 2 saves. If I played Starcraft I'd be upper tier Bronze or low level SIlver.
Games rarely stump me in singleplayer and I tend to be decent in most multiplayer games. Any RTS or fighting games are where I start to suck.
I tend to not like to stick to one game for very long, so I rarely get extremely good on one game. Instead, I'm a little above average on a wide number of them.
I'd guess above average, but for the amount of time I put in, I don't think I'm that good. I can kick ass at Tetris, hold my own in a game of Halo, get through most games on normal mode without too much of a fuss, but playing particularly difficult games or going up against people in most very competitive game environments, I usually fall down.
