Is there a way on the site to download the radio hour Dave did this past friday, for members who weren't able to watch the Live show?
Dave's post Happy hour radio show
Oh great! I caught a bit of it, I always enjoy Dave talking about how Whiskey Media works (I love him on the Bombcast too).
So this hasn't been posted yet, right?
Also, on the latest Bombcast it was confirmed that Dave will be doing the post-show show again this Friday, but Vinny said it might not be archived. Can someone please at least record the audio and share it later? Can't watch it live due to timezones.
@Scarlet_Rogue: I just wish the show was archived as a Podcast each month.
So is this archived on the Whiskey Media JTV? Can anyone tell me how to even access that? The password in /chat never seems to work.
What the hell is the point in doing it if it's not archived? I'm willing to bet more people end up watching the archives than the shows live anyway. I was one of the people that talked to Dave on the forums and specifically asked him about doing a call in show, and now I can't even see it.

I have no idea of the recording equipment was going at the time or just the livestream. If it was just the livestream, I don't see how it can be handled elegantly without sending an email or PM to all members which might get annoying. At least I had the privilege of talking with the lord hardcore.
Is there no archive, again? That's super lame. As a subscriber, i don't want to miss out on subscriber benefits. If the Happy Hour gets archived, why not this?
If there is no official archive, all we'd need is one duder to record the live audio and share it later. Shouldn't be too hard to do.
@MattyFTM said:indeed. also, does Dave do the call-ins every HH, or just the free ones?It will be archived on the site next week.Hey what happened to this?
managed to catch the first 10-20 mins of it last night, then conked out, thats the problem having the happy hour start at midnight in the UK, normally i just watch the archive, but i really wanted to hear the hardcore dave radio show, hopefully someone captured the audio or something
I would just archive it and put the mp3 up for DL myself if i could actually watch the HH on justin.tv. But alas, it's password protected (at least the non free ones are), and I'm not even sure if Dave only does the call-ins after free eps or after every ep. It's kind of an annoying situation... : [

Is this archived anywhere, at all? On Justin TV?
Sadly, no. It's on the Whiskey channel and it's locked when there's no livestream. I really wish they would release these somehow, I completely missed it last night.
Sigh...got a reply back from @Jeff on Formspring... http://www.formspring.me/jeffgerstmann/q/209000915091361054
Oh well..sucks that they do stuff that even paying members can't access... After all it's not like it's tough to do, Justin.tv already does the automatic archive. Now I wish the community could do our own archive just like we have with TNT. By doing that there isn't a way to block non paying members to access it but f that... even paying members are getting screwed right now so it's better than nothing...
I don't quite agree with the logic that just because it can be archived they are obligated to do it. Even in this digital age there's something to be said for "you had to be there moments" and those have value to me as a member too. I'm not going to say "refund me a nickle because I missed it". That's asinine.
With 500+ people watching yesterday, I'm willing to bet one of the subscribers was taping it. But if they are True Duders® they won't share it right away, or else it totally negates the idea of subscriber exclusives.
Remember how narrowly we avoided getting staggered subscriber half-podcasts. Don't try to go back there for any reason.... please.
@Megasoum:
I also saw that on Jeff's Formspring, and i'm bummed about it.
Plan B, then: All we need is one guy to record live audio of the radio show and distribute it to subscribers later. Should not be hard to do at all. I would do it myself, but the whole reason i'm not watching it live is because it's in the middle of the night for me.
Who's up for it?
Also, did anything noteworthy happen on any of the radio shows they've done since the original Dave marathon? Since i'll probably never get to hear those now.
edit: Megasoum - the download links could be sent out via PM to subscribers only. There would have to be a request thread and it's not an automated solution, but it would be a way to give it to subscribers only.
It doesn't seem to fit very well with the whole idea of getting new subscribers for the world tour to have content that you can't access due to time differences. Enjoyed the Dave radio phone in bits I caught back during Whiskeypocalypse, but I'm not going to stay up till 1am to catch it. Not going to whinge too much, as I still think there's plenty of value in the subscription, but don't see why they wouldn't put it up barring some technical reason why not. Hell, there's plenty of us listening to multiple of hours of rambling podcasts each week (let alone the countless hours of E3 'casts) so there's clearly people who'd listen, and it's not like video where there's a high overhead in providing it. Just seems like an odd decision.
@Bib: Another reply from Jeff on Formspring... http://www.formspring.me/jeffgerstmann/q/209405303551198172
AFAIK there is no reason to have it as a video, a simple mp3 would be fine and we don't need it on friday night. Even if it's just on the next monday it would still be awesome! I sent another question to Jeff suggesting that...we'll see...
Sigh...this is so stupid... http://www.formspring.me/jeffgerstmann/q/209519866661600429

Yeah...I seriously don't get it.
Yeah it kind of sucks as I never watch any of those things live. The reason most people love WM are the personalities and the compelling content those personalities create. I think if you take the audio, throw it up on whiskeymedia.com as a subscriber only podcast. I think any extra content you can pump out for subscribers make the premium member just that much better.
@Ghost_Bear: It's really not that complicate. Podcasts and videos are a pain in the ass to edit and put up. Not enough people want it to justify Vinny or Dave staying an extra 2 hours editing.

Why not just make the archive available on justin.tv then? Even if it is supposed to be a subscriber only feature...how many subscribers actually catch it live?
