DEVELOPER DIARY: XBL Gamertag and PSN IDs Now In Profile

Just pushed out a small bit of code that allows you to add your XBL Gamertag and PSN ID into your profile...... Hopefully this'll mean a lot Ken vs. Ken matchups online ;)

Even though I don't own an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, I've gone ahead and added both to my profile. :)

Edit: I just noticed that the gamertags are placed right in between the wiki points and ranking. I prefer keeping those numbers right next to each other since they're so interrelated.

I agree with LordAndrew, keeping those two numbers together makes sense.

Just a heads-up, tomorrow Sony is going to make their "Trophies Site" go live... so you can link peoples PSN ID's back to their Profiles, much like you have it now with XBL Gamertags.

Cool. Hmm... maybe I'll add mine. Either way, my 360 just broke, so I wouldn't be able to add anyone for probably at least a month.

Sweet. Been hoping for something like this for a while.

I've got mine added to my page now and it's quite nice, but I must say that I agree with LordAndrew on the whole Points/Ranked issue. I think it looked nicer when those were right next to each other, rather than being split between the GT/PSN ID section.

Pretty neat, cool to see that the XBL ones tie straight to your xbox.com profile. Why is it abbreviated to "Xbox Live Marketplace"?

as a side note, i'm looking into hitting the xbox api to grab a feed of your gamerscore, most recently played games, etc..... the only roadblock i see with this is that 

a) the full api looks like its restricted to only a number of sites and 

b) as far as i've seen, there isn't a way to get the response back as a jsonP response (which we need in order to use it on our end)
