What was everyone's favorite game that was released in 2008?

I don't get why people hate it, it was a good game.

Team Fortress 2 but if we're being picky here that it must have been released in 2008, then Left 4 Dead gets my vote.

If I only want to choose one game that would be GTA IV .

I'm Going to Say Rock Band 2.  I never got the 1st RB, And it's pretty much the only game I can get my G/F to play with me lol.

GTAIV followed by Fable 2

Fable 2 was my fave game of the year. It had been a long time since I had so much fun playing an action-rpg.

Probably since Drakengard 2... if that can be considered an action-rpg...

if i had 2 choose only one it would be fallout 3 but only on the pc

MGS 4 :D It was better than sex :P

I think mine was GTAIV as well. Gears 2 might be my runner-up.

I like MGS4 better than GTA IV as a game

from what I hear, Metal Gear Solid 4 sounded better than GTA IV, and Fable II was quite an experience too. Too bad I have old Xbox...can't wait until the next generation of consoles come

Company of Heroes was my favourite game that i played this year.For games that were released this year,Fable 2.

from what I hear MGS4 was great, but it had a lot of cut scenes, which I wouldn't mind
