Even if KZ2 is just completely average in every way, I would take it over Skate 2. Just not my kind of game, and even if I found it really fun it would still be the type of game I wouldn't play over a decent shooter.

Well I would go for Killzone 2... but it depends what you want really. These are completely different games so hard to say without knowing you.

No I haven't played through KZ2, and I've said more negative things about it not living up to expectation rather than positive ones, there's not a single thing about that post that says "fanboy" what so ever. If I'm gonna be put to anything like that it would be PC, not a console at all, but I'm not completely biased like that. I just had no interest in Skate really, and from what I've seen from KZ, as I stated, even if its only barely decent I would rather play an ok shooter than Skate 2. Make some sense before making a post sounding like a troll. Btw I myself happen to also know for a fact no matter how good KZ2 is, I won't like it as much as I will like Fear 2, just because I knew I was into that more, and now that I've played the demo, I can definitely say for sure what I thought is correct.
Comparing a Skating game/sim and a FPS aren't exactly the most equal of comparisons.
Don't think it is a fair comparison. Don't think its is fair to say "one is for sure way better than the other" or something like that. They are SO different games.
Now.. if you have even a remote interest in shooters.. I will right away say Killzone 2.
But if you played Skate and loved it, then Skate 2 is also a very good option. In the end I think its all personal preference as the comparison just can't really be there.
