A "Webby" doesn't really matter.....makes no difference.
Should GiantBomb have won a Webby?
Being that a lot of us here really do like this website, this might be particularly bias, per say. Giant Bomb is a new site, and has not even exited (at this present state), for a year. There are many other websites that are deserving of awards too, and have been around the block just a bit longer. I'm not going to give a definitive "Yes" because that sounds particularly bias, especially if I haven't been to other websites that were nominated. Awards don't make a website great, contributing users and people who work behind-the-scenes make a website truly great. Just my opinion.
Okay i realize that my question was poorly written... i am aware that the website still is very new, but it proved to be one of the sites where i, as a game-fanatic felt "home" i guess .. it's a place where you can debate your worst or just have a laugh with some other people. It's of course possible to do the same on various other pages, but here i feel free from the anonymous hate that i often run into. So i really wanted to see if other people shared my opinion, and the question should probably just have been a post... but whatever.. I just thought that GB could make it as one of the "Game-related sites" or what the category is named.

I think it should have been chosen over a site like rockband.com, but Webby's are kind of pointless.
Yes, partly because it's such a large achievement coming from a fairly small team of coders and editors. When was the last time you saw a video game site/wiki that wasn't Giant Bomb? I am not surprised that they didn't win because it's an independent site but I'm really tired of stuff like MLG getting nominated. This is why Webbys shouldn't be voted on by the mass majority.
