Super Smash Bros Brawl Giant Bomb Tournament


I am planning in organising a Super Smash Bros Brawl Giant Bomb Tournament (SSBBGBT) for the Wii owners on Giant Bomb who are interested in it. Who here is already thinking about joining?

Since i've sort of lost my copy of the game (probably at one of my friend his place) i can not start the actual organizing but i just wanted to give you guys  a heads up that it is coming. The tournament it self will be in about 2 weeks, i'll come back to you once i recover my copy of the game and will pin a solid date and hour, it will also be then that you can apply for the tournament.

The tournament will be filmed and posted later on in the forums.


Tournament rules:


  • Duration per match:
 2 lives, limited time 5 min (i'll have to check if this is doable if not it will be only 2 lives)

  • Objects:
Bomb-ombs only, medium frequency

  • Map:
Random

If it wasn't in 2 weeks I'd do it, but I'll be back home for my Christmas Holls, and my wii will still be at my home at university. And on top of that you can guarantee the matches will be in the middle of the night in the UK.

That is where the fun part kicks in where i will be awake in the middle of the night hosting this. Well perhaps it would be better if a US resident actually host it and i just organize the thing.

Only bombombs makes this officially a GiantBomb tournament, why isn't it called GiantBombomb tournament? Catchy name and it is applicable to the game.
