I know there are probably allot of forums like this, but I thought I'd ask anyway. What games do you love that are hated by the rest of the public, like aqua-man. Most people I talk to hate that game, but I ran into a guy who actually loved it. If you love a game that's hated by the general public, talk about it here.
I just bought 1080 Avalanche and I'm playing it on my Wii with a GameCube controller of course. It's not much of a trickster, but the downhill racing is fun.
I liked SSX Blur, which got very mixed reviews. I kind of liked the Mission Impossible game for the N64 (which I recognize as an awful game...lets call it a guilty pleasure).

I have very fond memories of playing Mission Impossible for the 64 when I was young. I have also played Superman 64, but even as a kid I remember that game being awful.

I used to rent that game as a kid all the time, I thought it was great back then. But for I would have to say The Legend Of Dragoon, very underrated rpg which deserved a lot more sales and better reviews imo.
I'm probably gonna say, kane and lynch (don't blame the game, it wasn't it's fault, it was the stupid funders), and dark sector, also assassin's creed is so much better than what people say it is, It's my all time favorite game!

I think what I remember most about XIII is that the story was genuinely intriguing for those who hadn't read the comic, and the visual style was pretty gorgeous -- especially in the framing of events in comic book style.
It was kind of like The Darkness for the last gen in a way? Not technically a brilliant shooter, but good style/graphics/story.
Damn I want to buy that game again now. Bet its real cheap too.
Black Hawk Down on the original Xbox. King of the Hill multiplayer in that game was one of the most amazingly fun things I ever played. It had teams of like 25 people each all going for the same hill. It was insane.

I remember my dad being hooked on that for the PC for years! It was pretty awesome. Amazingly huge maps too if I remember right.
Spiritual predecessor to Joint Operations, wasn't it?

I'm not sure. I wasn't huge into games back then, and I just kinda randomly bought it when I saw it at the store.
I loved The Godfather game (I have played it on Wii and PS2...became Don of NYC on both, hehe), I thought Killzone 1 was very good, and Super Mario Sunshine. I love that game. I don't care what you say.
Whereas most people think that the cover system started with Gears of War, there are 2 little games I like to call Winback and KillSwitch. Two great games, each one with a cover system.
Tenchu Z, Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi. I'm sure there are more, but those are the ones that people constantly poke fun at to me.
Too Human. I don't know why, but I couldn't stop playing that game when it came out. By the second time around, I actually managed to play the game in a way that involved some skill.
Wave Race 64, all the way. On a platform where Mario Kart and F-Zero dominated, it was sadly lost in he mire. Oh my memories of those waves... Those races...
