What games do you regret buying in 2011?

I know there's already this thread, but it's rather different. 
 
Simple question: what do you wish you hadn't bought this year? 
 
For me, there are three games: Pokémon Black, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and L.A. Noire. Pokémon Black is so boring and repetitive that I don't want to continue playing, and it's not as though the story is a motivation. L.A. Noire was fun, but too short, flawed and I had bought it with the R* Pass; I just should have rented it. Finally, I had enjoyed MvC3 when I had bought it day 1 earlier this year, but I can't get into UMvC3. Everybody's using the same characters online and I don't even feel like taking the time to get better with it.

Deus Ex. I'm on the second boss fight and I'm just not having fun with the game anymore. It was fun, but not great. Only bought it for forty bucks though so I'm not lamenting over it.

I don't live my life with any regret. What happens happens, and the best you can do is just keep looking forward, not backwards.

That said, Stronghold 3, because fuck.

L.A. Noire

Yakuza 3. I thought it looked cool and that I'd enjoy the setting and combat, but the beginning is so slow and rife with boring mini-games and dialogue that I can't find the will to play it. I've now lost complete interest in the game and don't think I'll ever play it again.

While there's been quite a few that I didn't feel I got my money's worth, I'd say the one I regret I bought was BF3. Just because I should've known why I wouldn't like the game without actually buying it.

Assassin's Creed Revelations. I'm still a little early in the game so my opinion could change but I am just not getting in to it. Its pretty much just Brotherhood all over again with a few new additions, most of them being pointless.

Hydrophobia, which i just bought on steam for like 3 bucks, its a pretty bad game.

I was going to say none, but then I saw LA Noir listed, and I remembered that I actually bought that brand new. It wasn't horrible, but I could have easily and happily spent the sixty dollars on something else.

Final Fantasy XIII, WHAT-WAS-I-THINKING?!

Bought a lot more games this year than previous ones, so far the only one that I should have waited on getting through gamefly than buying new is X-Men Destiny. Had a few interesting things going on in that game but definitely a rental.

I guess Rage. I liked it but I guess if I had to pick one I shouldn't have bought its that one

Dark Souls. Not that it's bad or anything, but I simply haven't played enough of it to warrant the $60.

None for me that came out this year so far but I bought Wolfenstein from 2009 for like 10 bucks from a going out of business Blockbuster and the damn game keeps crashing so much its pretty much unplayable. Not a big loss but still.

Bulletstorm and Alice

DC Universe Online (PS3): it's not bad but it takes up 20 gigs, I only have a 40 (which is near filled even without it) and now it's F2P

Marvel vs Capcom 3 / Mortal Kombat: fighting games in general really. I like watching them but I don't have the patience to get better at them

Brink: this was just....I don't know what the hell this was but it sucked

Far Cry (Steam): thank god it was like 4 bucks or something cause wtf? Game has aged terribly

Rage. Fuck me this game was boring, man....

LA Noire, Crysis 2, Bulletstorm and to a lesser extent Deus Ex 

• Killzone 3
• Portal 2 (I hate that second act).
• LA Noire (Other than Rusty, Homicide was terrible).
• Deus Ex Human Revolution (I really dislike the game after you go to see the news lady).

Terraria and minecraft. just totally not my thing.

Mortal Kombat and LA Noire.

LA Noire cause that was easily rentable, Uncharted 3 for it's host of issues and probably Assassin's Creed Revelations because of how bland and tired it feels.

Magicka with all the DLC during the summer sale on Steam.

I regret more getting the season pass for LA Noire cause.....I never finished the game to begin with. Thus never did the DLC.

Skyrim.

Battlefield 3 and Rage.

Luckily when I bought MW3, I didn't open it so I returned it within an hour and received a full refund.

Gears 3, hey it was fun for a week, multiplayer is awesome, but fuck there is no chance in hell I will touch that game again.

Not many...I can't believe you guys didn't like LA Noire or Crysis 2...I thought both were completely amazing in their own ways. For me, the games that I've bought this year, but didn't enjoy were: Ocarina of Time 3D (I can't believe how poorly that aged), Little Big Planet 2 (I was hoping for something totally new, instead of more of the same), Shadows of the Damned (cool story, but absolutely dreadful gameplay), Outland, Dragon Age 2, Child of Eden (maybe for $15, but it felt like just half a game), Fight Night Champion, Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary and maybe Modern Warfare 3 (we'll see).
