So there is the question. Why do you choose to have an alignment, whether it be Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, or PC(which is basically Microsoft)? I never found myself trying to be a fanboy because I like the choice of selecting games. Granted, machines are getting much more expensive then they were before so going into denial is the second to best thing.
Why do you have an alignment?
Because the Xbox 360 is my main gaming machine right meow. Why don't you have an avatar, at least pick the generic Master Chafe or Paper Mario one.
I own/have owned a plethora of game consoles across all three of the major manufacturers, not to mention I had the Sega Genesis and I play PC games from time to time. And while I have/do enjoy games across all these different platforms, Microsoft's Xbox and Xbox 360 have been my favorite consoles...ever. When it comes down to it, I simply enjoy Microsoft's systems and their games the most. I am not a fanboy, I just have an alignment.
I have been gaming since the Nes era and the supernintendo is my favorite console of all time, but ever since the N64 i had a falling with Nintendo and sony's playstation was home of really awesome games, i just kind of kept going with it, plus im used to sony's controller since its the same since ps1.
"I chose PC because its the only platform worth playing games on. It is the real mans platform.Yeah I went there. No tears please."
This guy took the blue pill. Nevermind him; be on your merry way, people.
"Gunrock said:I know, i know, i just didn't like it that much, Mario kart, Mario 64, Ocarina of time, Majoras mask and conquer are probably the ones i enjoyed the most, oh and golden eye MP, but on Playstation had way more games that i liked, its personal opinion, im sure most of you don't feel this way."but ever since the N64 i had a falling wiht Nintendo ."What?"
Because I got bored with a gray username, so now I change my alignment based on what I'm playing most at the moment.
Recently, I've been playing quite a few PC games, so it's currently set at PC. Although I got persona 4 this morning, and I plan on playing it tomorrow, so It'll probably change tomorrow.
I primarily game on my Xbox even though I have PS3, Wii, Gaming PC, AND a Neo Geo Pocket. So that is why I picked Microsoft, I also like my name being green.

No, no. I said "What?" because I didn't understand what you said. but i do nao
I play most on my 360 / Original Xbox which is why I have an alignment. I love games regardless of the platform too, just because I have an alignment doesn't mean I will limit myself in that regard. ;)
Back when I was a kid I was a Nintendo fanboy. Hated Sega.
When I became a teen I lost most of any fanboyism I had. Over the years various companies and products have spurned me.
I don't like the direction Nintendo is going, I've had lots of 360's die and I don't agree with everything they're doing, I've had PS1s die, PS2s die, and a PS3 die, and I think Sony makes some really dumb business decisions. I've fallen out of PC gaming for many reasons.
If anything I have a pro-360 and pro-PS3 slant just because that's what I'm enjoying the most, but I don't absolutely hate everything Nintendo's doing and some PC gaming things still seem worthwhile to me.
I am not really a fanboy but the 360 is my favorite console of this generation is what I mostly play on. Plus green looks cool. :P
Well, I used to be chaotic neutral but as I've grown older, I find myself leaning more towards lawful neutral. I guess I can understand why some people wind up lawful good, but I can't just yet align myself to that level of commitment. Maybe over time, maturity will completely alienate my viewpoints from what is unfamiliar, and then I'll make that final step in welcoming conformity...I'm sorry, what were we talking about?
