looks like they dont even realize the purpose of the wiki pages and the amount of info that will someday be available. they seem more concerned with the forums being navigable and reviews. someday people will see the light.
So a majority likes it. The opinions are mixed were ever you go, I think it's too soon to ask that question since few have given GB an honest chance.
Fact is that nobody knows what this site will be like in a year and how popular it will be. GS is getting wiki sections too after their redesign so we'll see what kind of effect that will have.
I don't care what GameTrailers thinks about the site.
They have to remember that it's basically the brainchild of one or two men. It's expanded incredibly and it's not endorsed by a TV station. GameTrailers has their own TV show and they're still the little brother of sites like IGN and GameSpot. They are definitely not the place to go to for news and they have definitively made that clear with the only content they actually post are videos and video reviews, and don't even speak of ScrewAttack. Bombcast > ScrewAttack. Intelligent discussion from some truly cool people is better than top ten videos and the only hook, line, and sinker for the site being AVGN.
Giant Bomb has not only created something amazing within months, but they also have such potential once the kinks are worked out and they can focus on news and such, they've already started "Hands on" with some games.
I support this site because it's not the typical "HEY WE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE YOU 80 BILLION DOLLARS TO MAKE A COOL VIDEO GAME WEBSITE TO APPEAL TO 18-24 YEAR OLD MALES AND GIVE US INCREDIBLE TRAFFIC BECAUSE WE REALLY NEED TO CONNECT WITH A GENERAL DEMOGRAPHIC".
It's for gamers, by gamers in it's truest form. They aren't trying to be IGN, GameSpot, or GameTrailers. They're the Giant Fuckin' Bomb, and from all the bullshit people talk about it, it seems they've happily exploded.

Forums are more important than Wiki pages because forums provide information on current games, whereas Wiki pages focus on older games.
However, having a page dedicated to teabagging is commendable.

I refuse to have a discussion about navigable forums when the page I'm sent to has 10 animated gifs and 75 pixels of repeating signatures to every 2 lines of text :)

Seems like they think it's a game review site... That's just weird... I mean, it's so obvious that the focus of this site is to be an information resource and gaming community first. Everything else is secondary.
