Damn Wow.

I smell a future Giant Bomb T-shirt!

Give Jeff a Yasogami High tracksuit and it's all gravy. Other then that, this looks pretty cool.

Jeff looks like Doug from the Walking Dead. Like scarily so.

Patrick looks like The Mars Volta.

This is really great. Here's my thoughts if you want to take them on:

- Brad is fucking perfect.

- Patrick's hair could get some upper volume. Even though he's facing up and his hair would drop, he's more recognisable as having a boofy Afro and the long hair down doesn't look like him.

- The darkened shadow area under Patrick's chin should be a slightly different colour to his hair. I thought he had a goatee at first, and I don't think those little facial hairs fit him.

- Patrick's jaw line could be pushed in a bit. I think where it is now makes him look slightly more larger than he really is.

- Ryan is fucking perfect. I can't wait to see him and those locks coloured.

- Vinny's really good. I didn't get the same immediate kick from it as I did Ryan and Brad, but I don't know what it could be...

- Jeff as others have said can definitely do with a tweak.

But that's me just being anal me. I fucking love these so much.

This is amazing.

I think Brad's chin is a bit big, but everybody else says he's perfect, so... all it really tells me is that I am intimately familiar with the faces of like 5 or 6 dudes from the Internet who I've met in person for a grand total of maybe an hour.

I'm a GiantBomb fan, and that fact is fucked up.

I had a lot more of Ryan done, then my computer crashed. Sooooo, I'll just post the last save I made prior to that. I'm goin on a trip over the weekend, so I won't be updating till after I get back next week. A few things I'll have to change when I do get back is to redo Brad's chin a tad, finish up ryan and then completely redo Jeff. I think if Ryan is facing left, I'll have to figure out an entirely new position for Jeff to be in for their bodies to fit proper like. . . In any case, I'll be back.

And in case you're one of the 3 people who haven't seen it, it looks as though we're starting a Persona/GiantBomb movement. Check out @SupernormalStep 's sweet ass work here . As of this post, he's got a brilliant Jeff and Vinny and in my opinion, looks a hell of a lot more persona'ish than my stuff. I may have to crib from him in terms of coloring -_-;;

Brad has been perfectly Personafied. And Vinny looks like the young version of Clint Eastwood (pretty tough). Those two by far my favorite ones.

I don't want to seem like I'm making a request because it's a lot of work and these are already awesome, but I think I would love you forever if there was an all-out attack version.

This is amazing, even put-it-on-a-t-shirt-worthy. Keep it up, Duder! I really wanna see the finished drawing when you're done.

Ryan looks like Kenny Rogers in those pre inked ones. I approve

Your Vinny and Brad are awesome!

A few minor things that I noticed (I'm not artist, so take that for what it's worth) that changed from your original sketches to the full color models that I think worked better in the sketches. Brad seems to look just slightly more authentic in the sketch, and after looking over it for awhile, I think I pinned it down to the bridge of his nose. Idk, something about the sharpness of the angle in the original just made a stronger resemblance for me, whereas in the colored in version the curve is a bit smoother.

And second, this is just more of an attitude type thing, but in the colored in version, Patrick looking up to the sky makes him look as if he is in awe of something, where in the original sketch his gaze looks like hes looking towards the right, not up, and his attitude looks much more like "Im gonna go fuck someone up over there".

Either way, everything looks fucking incredible and can't wait to see where you leave them when you are finished!!

Awesome stuff, Vinny and Ryan are spot on.

Ryan looks a bit like George Lucas in the uncolored versions... but other than that is great.

Wow this fucking amazing.. Great job man. We need to keep coming up with Persona related projects like this so that one day the guys are referenced in Persona 6. Then I can finally sleep...

I like both Persona 4 user highlights, but I like yours better, for what its worth!

I'm BACK! Had a real nice trip up to Seattle for the weekend away from comp and now that I'm back at home, I'll start doin some updates again =)

I've noticed that @SupernormalStep has also been hella busy makin more hot persona/gb stuffs and hooha it's incredible. He's workin at an amazing clip and I've no chance of putting out stuff as quickly as he does. Slow and steady for me -_-;; Case in point, Brad's been bugging me like crazy since I inked/colored his face and so I took another crack at it. Made a bunch a changes and hopefully it looks more like him, and a slight bit more like the art I'm trying to emulate -_-;; He's still roughly colored but I think I'm pretty happy with the ink. . . Though I may need to push out his hair a bit further after the recession, I dunno. Anyhow, I'm thinking next thing I'll do is try to finish Ryan's head and finish up Patricks hair. . . . for that matter, Vinny might need some doin as well. Anyway, I'll keep at it till it's done =)

Thanks again for all the nice stuff ya'll've been sayin and mucho thanks to the mods for puttin another one of my stupid projects in the community highlights. Oh, and thanks to @ZombiePie for the ups in the community spotlight =)

I know right!? I think once I actually do his hair right instead of the slipshod way I finished it for now to get spacing, he's gonna look kinda like, more male model than video game news editor =P

I'm really curious myself to see how Jeff turns out and if he's recognizable. He's pretty spot on in the other Persona/GiantBomb thread but considering how the other characters look so far, I'm guessing we'll end up with very different looking Jeffs.

The more I look at his stuff, the awesomer it is. I'm trying to get as much of it as I can into this but it's just not melding like his stuff does. I'd love to see his take on some IRL people just to see how he does it.

His stuff is freaking awesome incredible~!! I don't really ever see art stuff as a competition in most cases though since I know there's always someone who can do anything I can better =P More so because I love his stuff just as much as you do =) Really awesome draws and his variations into screenshots are hilarious =)

Yea, I really noticed that he looks a helluva lot more like brad in sketch than in ink/color and it's been driving me crazy. I've taken another crack at him and hopefully it's closer to the original sketch. I think part of the problem might have been his nose is more rounded and also I change from a straight on profile shot to a slight angle. Whaddaya think? Also, I get what you're sellin' bout patrick. I'll see what I can do. . . but for god's sakes, what the hell color are his eyes!?

Like I asked the other guy who did giant bomb x persona artwork, where can I see more of your work? You're really talented!

I think I like these ones better than those other ones from that other thread.
