I am one of the last people I know to have a cellphone. Although now it TOTALLY SUCKS not having one, I'd still have to go with it as my choice to sacrifice for a month if I had to choose between them. My life is on the Internet, including my job. :P

Sure but my parents and grandparents don't know how to use that newfangled technology, either does my aunt who doesn't own a computer. Not everyone is online you know. Just everyone from our generation :P
I just went 7 months without my cellular. It was horrible. But I still got to talk to people and set things up through the interwebs. So It's not as bad as it seems.

True to an extent. You can't do everything with it (I certainly could not perform my job duties on a cell) but yeah you could get by. Same with Skyping from computer in place of a phone or using AIM. It works but doesn't really replace a cell.
Cellphone, nothing's that important that you need a phone on you 24/7, there's always a house or something nearby. And if you managed to get stuck in the desert/middle of nowhere, you probably deserved it. ^^
Hell, can't remember last time I put some prepaid on my phone, barely use the damn thing as is.
@astrotriforce: More like we're at the point where we can go without cell phones but still stay in touch quite easily. I'll bring it along if I get stuck into some emergency situation. But using it to hold conversations with people and keep in touch? That's what the internet is for.
You're over-simplifying it. Cellphones are for major convenience, but at times it sucks majorly to not have one with you. Try coordinating things without a cell. It's really difficult (particularly when cars are involved), and I'm someone who's online 24/7 (literally, I work from home...online). yet even still I eventually got a cellphone and like I said, was pretty much the last person I knew who's my age/younger that didn't have one. I can only think of one person my age right now who doesn't own a cell.

They have this thing called Skype Out. It allows you to phone from the internet to a real phone. Surely your parents, grandparents and aunt have real phones.

Just about every MP3 player made in the last 5 years have a clock. And just as hard as it would be to give up the internets it would be to give up podcasts.
Cellphone. I almost never even use it. If I talk to somebody, I prefer doing it face to face. Otherwise I usually set up plans and stuff over Facebook.
