Depends. If you're in college getting A degree so you can get A job, it's mostly for chillaxin. If you're planning on actually using your degree then it's for learning.
A little bit of both, it's hard to "chillax" in college, but part of what keeps me going is the fact that I can see my friends everyday and hang out on the breaks we have.
My grades have been horrible this year, I`m going to have to either upgrade at a college or do another year, I had a lot of shit going on in my life + the hate of school in general caused my grades to plummet, I have learned my lesson and for anyone who wants to slack off in school, I wouldn't advice it or you might end up in a shitty situation like mine.

Your analogy is questionable at its best . The Obama adminstration is the first to dedicate large amount of money to education . Obama himself asked the general population to increase their academical knowledge by attending some learning courses . No president has ever emphasized education and its value as much as Obama has .
Was I the only one who was lucky enough to have some teachers that made learning feel like you were chillaxing but you were actually getting through lots of material.
My classes/teachers always knew how to balance the joking around and actually getting stuff done.
