I’ve suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me.

The usual signs… Phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up.
My wife has been going out with the girls a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don’t know them."

I always stay awake to look out for her taxi coming home, but she always walks down the drive. Although I can hear a car driving off, as if she has gotten out of the car round the corner. Why? Maybe she wasn’t in a taxi?

I once picked her cell phone up just to see what time it was and she went berserk and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her.

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife I think deep down I just didn’t want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.

I decided I was going to park my motorcycle next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the whole street when she came home. It was at that moment, crouching behind my bike, that I noticed that the valve covers on my engine seemed to be leaking a little oil.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the dealer?

I stopped reading there.

This is a video game forum, you're really better somewhere else with this issue. I don't think there's a cheat code for this.

Wait, wha? The first 90% of the post is about how you suspect your wife might be cheating on you, but then you end with how you can fix the valve covers on your engine?

This is a fairly old meme, where you start with a nonrelated issue ( relationship seems to be most popular ) and then ask the "real" question at the very end.

This is an old joke, and it works best if you post it on a forum dedicated to the subject in the punch line, so this post would have been a lot funnier if you made an effort and changed it to be video game related. Or, you know, you could have posted it on another motorcycle forum than the one you found it on.

It's still kinda funny though, I'll give you that

Good advice. This would have been much better if it ended with something like "so I decided to hide behind a chest-high wall...which reminds me, is the combat in Mass Effect 2 actually any good?"

Oh god... I was reading this while in class and suddenly i started giggling like crazy haha its great :D

#28 Posted by KillerBears (248 posts) -

This is obviously copy-pasted and I've heard something very similar before...but I still laughed.

But yeah, it would have been 10x better if you made it videogame related

Ask the wife if the guy she is fucking around with is a mechanic, and see if he will fix it for you. He might even give you a good deal if the wife is good with the sex.
