So there was a shooting at my school....

I go to a community college Called NOVA in you guessed it Northern Virginia and yesturday some kid came in with a high powered rifle and attempted to shoot a teacher. This world is fucking crazy. Thank god noone was injured

Ha, when I was in high school, a kid showed up in the parking lot and shot his girlfriend four times in the chest, then shot himself. The girl was pregnant too. But it was haliarious! He shot the chick FOUR times, and she LIVED! Her baby too. Crazy.

My dad told me about this this morning. He said the kid walked in, shot some rounds at the ceiling, sat at a desk, and waited to be arrested. What an idiot.

im in high school and nothing like that has happened

Ugh... Teenagers and their inability to deal with themselves.

That's kinda weird though that he didn't hurt anyone. He could have easily taken out (or at least hurt) the teacher and his classmates. Thank God it didn't happen and you're ok, but this makes me believe this was him wanting attention but didn't really want to kill anyone. Or maybe he realized what he was doing was fucked up after the first shot.

That's an unusual case of a high school shooting or lack thereof anyway. Regardless of what he did, at least nobody got hurt.

My english teacher is paranoid about this shit, first class this year he started telling how the door should be always closed and how to stack the desks behind the door if this were to happen

My god, i really do not know what to say. I live in Australia so apart from rural areas we really dont have guns to be honest. Its illegal to own any sort of automatic or semi-automatic firearm here unless your police or military.

damn i see this and think how lucky i am to be alive, i would have been a prime suspect to get shot up by some nut job at my high school.. and no not because i was some hardcore bully...

Not that I would want it to happen, but how the hell did he not manage to shoot a single person when he was planning to at least gun down the teacher?  That makes him a double idiot.
