For me it was Gaia Online, because you could dress up your avatar. XD I quit a long time ago though.
What site were you addicted to before Giant Bomb?
" Gamesradar. But it's not what it used to be. Their are just a tonne of useless featuresThis. I used to think of Gamesradar as 'the Cracked of video games!' but they shifted to a daily format and now it just bloooows there. Even their podcast is suffering because they'd rather spend time being like 'What if the Wii was made of PUDDING!?' than anything.
Also, Cracked.com
waaaay back I was into Nsider on nintendo.com but then then they fired the whole staff and replaced em and now it sux giant monkey balls
This is pretty much my go-to hub. I usually don't need to leave the site unless I'm lookin' for downloads or searching wikipedia. Or porn.
You can do anything at zombocom
I was never addicted to a gaming site before Giant Bomb. I only went to Gamefaqs when I absolutely needed to.
Of course like many of you gamespot back in the day when it was actually worth something and one that no one here seems to have been to a lot was actually gamepro (user name illusive1 or illusive_1 can't remember which it was lol) it had a great community back in I think 06 to 08.
" I'm not addicted to Giant Bomb. I can quit anytime I want. *twitch twitch* "Wow. I posted the exact same thing the moment I entered the thread, then I went back through the thread and saw you already wrote it. If you remove *twitch twitch* and make the periods exclamation points, it's the exact same post.
Gamefaqs, I still a slight affinity towards how their boards were structured. But after I discovered the bombcast, I packed up my bags and traveled across the internet here. While I occasionally visit for specific games, Demon's Souls in particular, I call this place home.
I used to go on Gamespot and IGN, but IGN is too much of a sophmoric website and it always messes up my computer (Well, since their new look), and Gamespot I never really left until I realized they release so few reviews (I know, I should be ashamed of myself for getting on there every once in a while. Sorry guys). I am no Gamespot supporter though, so I guess that's somewhat good news.
