Not really crazy.  They did this as a quick fix because earlier people could go through the xbox live site to download the golden lancer(it was marked free and people were allowed to download it).  Obviously it was only supposed to be for limited edition copies.  Tood bad i missed it >:O

It's the same for banjo kazooie, only banjo was on for 1200 before it increased. I guess this is the same, they're obviously not supposed to be on there but there's been a glitch with the new web marketplace system and they're going on the site. The 9999 price is just to stop people buying them while they sort out the glitch.

Somehow I think that's wrong. I don't mean ethically, I mean someone made a mistake. No one, I repeat no one would be stupid enough to buy something that small for $1250. Except maybe Soulja Boy because he's attracted to anything with a high price so he can brag about how he can afford it, but then again he doesn't really count as a human being anyway.

Why would I even want a golden lancer to begin with? It doesn't even look all that cool anyway. It's just a solid gold lancer. There's no way I would pay money for it.

I find it funny that some people actually take this serious when it's obviously just a way to stop people from getting the DLC when they didn't actually buy the LE.

I find it hilarious that this is currently the #1 story on N4G ...I post an interview with Yuri Lowenthal (voice of Prince in PoP: Sands of Time) and it barely gets anything...post a retarded story about the Gold Lancer and it gets me a #1 story and almost 8000 hits to my site so far.

i got one for free because they didn't repeal the free downloads in canada. there was a short period of time where you could use the online store to get coded downloads for free. i guess all the stuff that people got in the US was zapped, but in canada, i've still got my golden lancer and gow2 gamestop theme for free...
