I was thinking of buying it again

Does anyone play this game anymore ?
"i play it off and on... not im not connected to the internet on my 360 so this whole comment probably means nothing to you..."yea i was mainly talking about multiplayer
Yes I play it...one of the few online games I'm playing atm. It still has it's problems but most of the time I still have fun.
I still play it. It actually has got alot better. Epic has improved matchmaking by making it quicker to get a game and it finally has a proper ranking system.
There is also new maps and they also redone the lobbies.
I recommend picking it up again
All my friends who own a 360 say they prefer Gears 1 still, but I`m a PS3 owner so I obviously don't play.
I had a good bit of fun with the singleplayer, but the multiplayer sucked something awful. If you can get it for less than $60 (or whatever a "new" game goes for in your country,) then you should probably check it out. I don't think it's worth full price.
Nope. Was pretty disappointed by the MP, and for some reason the SP didn't compel me enough for a second play through.
I would save your money and just give it a rental :\
I still find Horde really enjoyable, but I haven't played the game recently. Probably not worth full retail price, but worth having, if that makes sense.
The last patch really helped it a lot. When people quit the game will drop a bot in there place. The bot is on the highest difficulty, whatever it is called. The bots are actually better then your average newbie who doesn't know how to play really. So the problem with people quitting has been solved for the most part.
I still get connected to laggy games sometimes which stinks and is my biggest complaint at the moment..
It's one of the most played XBL games dude, finding players should be no problem.
I still play it a good 10-15 hours a week, when not playing Gears 2 I'm playing a two foot tall stack of games that I need to beat.

What do u usually play? Im lookin for someone to hook up with and get the snowblind horde achievement.
I like the game but I'm horrible at Multiplayer, and the bots are too easy to play against. I wish in Horde bots replaced quitters, because it seems noone stays for that long, which kills the mode. In short, it's still fun, but a little too frustrating for me to play it that much.

"I believe horde should be played with friends, playing public horde isn't a very good idea especially if you want to reach level 50.
I play Gears 2 basically almost every day. Day starts and ends with Horde and in the middle I try to gather some friends to play Public games.
I play publicly now and then, ever since Double EXP ended. Leveling up takes too long without it, and I want the "Blood on the Sand" achievement for it's '50 cent reference. If the achievement description changes to "where mah Skull, bitch?!", I'll say Epic deserves a gold star.
i would play it more if the competitive online was not so laggy.
Horde and co-op is fine however but iv done that many many times already.
just like the first, i spent couple weeks playing then never play it again until the sequel comes out.....fun games though......
