    A Masterpiece

    Pros:
    • Just as fun as GTA has always been.
    • A true next-gen jump from a previous gen game. Everything feels much more alive and real than in past GTA games. Everything from the variety in traffic, to the lighting, to the relationships.
    • Euphoria physics engine is incredible, very realistic.
    • Great soundtrack, as their always has been in GTA games.
    • The amount of detail is incredible. Things like the TV shows, internet, and hearing on the radio something about a mission you just did like a robbery or something. Even the smallest things have a tremendous amount of detail.
    • Amazing first attempt at online in a GTA game by R*. Adds much replay value and fun to the already incredible GTA IV experience.

    Cons:
    • Although understandable in such a large world, their is some pop-up issues.

    Presentation:

The presentation is done very well, from the opening cut scene to the final mission. From the TV shows to the radio stations. It feels exactly how R* wanted ot to feel, alive and real.

    5/5

    Graphics:

The graphics are beautiful, especially when you consider the size of the city. The pedestrians, cars, environment, explosions, and beyond all look great.

    5/5

    Gameplay:

GTA IV is just as fun as GTA always has been. The gameplay is just as detailed and amazing. It goes a huge step beyond all other GTA games with much added realism and life to the city. On top of this their has also been many other additions to add to the gameplay, such as new activities like darts and bowling, the relationships system, the euphoria physics engine, and much more.

    5/5

    Sound:

The soundtrack is amazing. The conversations between people on the street are incredible. The guns and explosions are astonishing. All the types of sounds in the game that you will hear are done very, very well.

    5/5

    Online:

An amazing online experience, especially for the first GTA game ever to feature online multiplayer. It adds a lot to the already incredible GTA IV experience. Their is 15 modes, all very fun, and some which take advantage of GTA's open city when compared to other online games. A very fun online experience.

    5/5

    Lasting Appeal:

The storyline will take 30-40 hours to complete. Then on top of that theirs the relationships, online, insane cop chases, and more. One of the most in-depth video games ever made.

    5/5

    Overall:

GTA IV is in my opinion one of the best games ever made. Whether it is for anyone else is their own opinion. But I think something that everyone can agree on is it is one of the most in-depth gaming experiences ever made. It is a must-have next-gen title that will give you years of entertainment, until the next GTA game is released.

    5/5

To live again in Liberty City... (TLAD) 0

It’s a bit weird how this generation has introduced the inclusion of downloadable content, as on the one hand it theoretically allows games to be expanded in fantastic ways, but on the other hand companies like Namco Bandai and Electronic Arts have made DLC rear its ugly head. Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned not only proves a good justification for the existence of DLC, but also expands on the idea of what DLC can really do and sets a lead that all other developers and publishers should fo...

The Lost and Damned is a download available on the Xbox Live Marketplace, PSN, and for download for PC for $20, respectively.  The expansion, while still being an expansion, is an entirely new game with new characters, story, weapons, vehicles, activities, and multiplayer modes.  While there are no new areas to explore, TLAD features the Rockstar brand of storytelling that everyone has come to know and love.
